Hotels in Singapore tend to be much more expensive comparable around it's region.
The Trader's Deluxe room is very small; the toilet is also amazingly small. The breakfast spread is adequate for all business travellers.
For 1 night stay, it's bearable.

Nice lobby, okay rooms

rooms looked a little bit worn and small. the end of the bed was pretty much up against the tv. the tv was an old, big set-top box model. when i pulled a tissue from the dispenser the whole dispenser came out leaving a spring coming out of the wall. the door seemed to be warped and was difficult to close properly. the location is convenient to the shopping on orchard, but a bit too far west of everything else. the customer service was pretty good. being able to shower in the spa/pool changing rooms after checking out was useful.

In room complimentary internet, clean, pool, complimentary fruit.

my room was the last one in the corridor, far from the lifts.
was a pleasant surprise to receive complimentary fruit.
good in room features and amenities (cable television, speakers in bathroom etc).
nice side view of the exotic pool
selling point for me was complimentary in room internet.
cant comment much because i only stayed one night

A good business hotel which commensurates with the price. If you are lucky you may get a promotional price, and that would make the stay so much more pleasant!

Very nice hotel, great location. Beautiful pool
Pool & Gym are nice. great shoppig mall just below ( small and nice )

Rooms are nice but a bit small, The price I paid was a bit overpriced.
Hotel should change their TV's to newer flat screen ones.

I was not impressed with the size of the room. I found it very small and a bit of a squeeze. The room is also old and not very well maintained.
The check-in process took too long. The receptionist did not understand my questions and gave me irrelevant answers.
Breakfast selection was good. A plus point is that the hotel is within walking distance to Orchard Road.

Worth Every Penny
Club lounge, very comfortable, clean, convenient location (short walking distance to Orchard Road), excellent staff/service, yummy breakfast, family friendly

Trader's Hotel in Singapore is totally family friendly but has the look, luxery and comfort of a totally adult hotel. We were very happy and our kids were happy, too. The hotel also offers washing machines and clothes driers which are an added plus when traveling with kids.

Thanks for a wonderful stay! Every staff member I dealt with was friendly and helpful, especially Molly at reception who really ensured that my stay was perfect.

Inconvienent location and small room

- poor service and extremely small room and toilet
i have 1 suitcase and 2 travellers bags, when i leave the taxi, there were noone to help me from unloading the items.
- i gave the staff at the reception who process my check in with my husband's golden circle number. i told them that my husband will check in hotel at the same evening. when he check in at the hotel, the paper with my husband's golden circle number was missing from their folder? without any apology or checking from their database, they just ask me to provide the number again!!!
- they almost step in my room to conduct smoke detector testing when i am actually working in the room by meself! i stop them from doing so and ring the reception about this, the reception have no clue what i said about the smoke detector testing within the hotel!
