basic hotel with great location
the best thing about this hotel is its location and easy access to mrt

V Hotel is located above Lavender MRT Station. It really is a great location to go anywhere in Singapore. The hotel has luggage storage facility in case you arrive early or leave late.
We were staying at superior room that is very compact but it has everything we needed for one night. I found the room rather dull with white duvet that is not white anymore, but the bed is comfortable enough. The room has a very large window but unfortunately we got room with obstructed view (looking into a very large structure column).
There are 24 hours food court and convenience stores adjacent to the hotel.
Internet is available at extra charge (S$10 for 24 hours).
Bathroom is also compact, with tiny closed-in shower area (app. 70cmx70cm). A rather large person would have difficulty moving in the shower box.
The worst thing of our stay is to find two small cockroaches in the bathroom.

It's really comfortable staying at this hotel.
Easy access to transportation, restaurants, and shopping centers.

Overall staying at V Hotel is always great, I have been staying there for a few times. It is not only because of the easy access to public transportation, the hotel lobby is just above the MRT Station, but also easy access to the shopping and culinary centers in Singapore. If you have another chance to visit Singapore, the V hotel is really well-recommended. Why don't you give it a try?
