Great budget hotel in fantastic location

This is a great budget hotel in Singapore. Location was fantastic on top of the very efficient MRT station so transportation was a breeze. Great food court and other food shops downstairs so plenty of breakfast options.
Yes, rooms (esp bathroom) are tiny, but everything is modern and beds are super comfy. Pool area is nice but could use more sunloungers.
In summary, very good value in Singapore for $ per night.

value for money, located @ lavender mrt station, food court and many food vendors surrounding the area, the room is clean and tidy.

one of the surprising things in v hotel lavender, they have indonesian tv channel at the room so that we feel at home. though the room is pretty small for 1 queen size bed + 1 single bed but still acceptable.

we have stayed at the hotel from 14 to 15 june. only 2 days. the hotel location is very good. it's beside the mrt and only need several step to get there. finding foods also no problems. the room also clean, but nothing fancy. the bed is quite comfortable. however the room's size is tiny, especially the bathroom. well it's singapore, so can't blame since it's only usd per night.
Restaurant Tip:
There are kopitiam beside the hotels. It's nice because it's open 24hrs.

Small but clean room. More suitable for budget travellers. Location was also convenient.
Restaurant Tip:
Look out for restaurants that have lunch/dinner sets at affordable prices and Happy Hours where drinks go for half prices at certain restaurants.

We had a nice day. We used the train from the airport and the hotel is exactly outside of the Lavender station.
Another plus is the restaurants and stalls nearby. No worries about getting hungry there.

apprehensive about lavender as reviews were relatively poor.
our stay however was very pleasant with great service and cleanliness to boot.
it is a great location with the fabulous food court just below and the mrt literally across the road.
access to the city and most parts of singapore is easy and cheap. orchard, china town, little india is a few stations away.
room is clean neat and comfortable with lovely smelling linen. bed is very comfortable ensuring a good sleep.
sure the shower recess is smaller than most traditional hotels but we found it is acceptable for its purpose.
it is a very busy hotel so patience at the front desk needs to be exercised if you require attention at busy times.
overall enjoyed our stay.

this is standard hotel located just above Lavender MRT station. below hotel there is local food court which has plenty kind of foods. room is small but cleaned. this room seems to be used a lot of group tourist so there are a lot of people at lobby and quite noisy.

A rare bargain in Singapore
price and right on top of the mrt subway

great price, but rooms are tiny. 2 people would have trouble getting around each other.
beds are hard as a rock too. that being said, i'd stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If there for a few days, get a Nets Flash pay card for the transit system. You get a discount on travel and any cash left on it is fully refundable when you return it.
