right next to lavender mrt station

great hotel with friendly service near the lavender mrt station. very convenient for business travellers. there's also a 24-hour cafetaria nearby. though wifi internet is no longer complimentary.

The room is a bit small but clean. Nothing fancy but just standard. Good value for money. The lobby is usually crowded with tourists and checking in and out would take a few minutes more than usual because of the number of guests. Good service and breakfast was better than expected.

This hotel V Hotel lavender very near MRT, The room tiny size but very clean, The hotel location very convinience such as Food center is open 24 hours. Staff very friendly. After check out the lugguage can drop with hotel staff. From the airport to hotel just 30 minutes.

Initially, we thought it was a decent looking hotel except it was a bit on the smallish side. The lobby was a den of chaos. V Hotel seemed to be a very popular destination for tour groups, so don't ever expect to see the lobby with fewer than two dozen people. There were door men who greeted us and bell boys who took our luggage and stacked them unattended along a wall of bags. Neither of these things seemed necessary. The hotel lobby is so small; the distance between door and elevator is irrelevant. The room itself looks quite modern with clean edges and a dark wood finish and for the most part it's small but functional. The same can't be said of the bathroom. There was no room to move with a single shower stall (the door doesn't pass over the floor towel provided, no hand towels, a single toilet roll for a room meant for two people, no tissue box, etc. Don't expect to have your room done up for you either. Room clean-ups during the day were a coin flip at best (and no, there isn't even a sign for the doorknob). The whole experience was extremely lacking in frills for a "four star hotel".
Restaurant Tip:
V hotel is surrounded by great eats. Just across the street opposite from the entrance is a friendly fruit shop with plenty of fresh produce. If you take a left from the same entrance, there is a corridor full of excellent food stalls including a cafeteria called "Kopitiam" (nice lunch/dinner option), a soybean specialty store, a jerked sweet meat store, a wonderful bakery (breakfast), a Chinese tea store, Thai food, and plenty more.

Functional hotel with good transport links

For convenience and price the hotel v lavender is a good choice. Located above an MTR station you can get directly from the airport on the green line. Most of the attractions (little india, chinatown & orchard road) in Singapore are only a short ride away.
Hotel rooms though on the small side are clean modern and functional.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask for a room with a city view. Some rooms overlook the other tower of the hotel.

Travel tip:
It you want to travel cheap from one location to another around singapore you may take the MRT which is right behind the hotel.

the hotel has a nice location, within walking distance (3 mins) to lavender MRT. It's literally next door. There's also 24 hrs kopitiam near the MRT, so it's very convenient. The room is fairly small but has everything you need. Cant really complain since the price of hotels in singapore is ridiculous. Staffs are nice. definitely will come back for the convenient location.
