good location but small rooms, bad facilities

location convenient, but room was really small, breakfast was not good, no free wifi in the room, service was okay, no tissues/slippers in the room, only a big towel in bathroom, no small towel for hair and no comb. generally okay.
Travel tip:
Check out the Marina Bay for drinks, the view was awesome.
Must try MaoShan King durian, very nice!! (only if you are a durian lover)

Great location with adequate room space

stayed for 3 nights here, enjoyed the stay. adequate rooms space, but considered small for the bathroom. for small family like me, it's enough. clean room provided each night when we got back to hotel, with adequate amenities. will get back in other visit to singapore, okay in terms of value, location, and food.

One of the worst hotels I ever stayed!
the only pro is next to the subway

Let's see:
The bathroom is so tiny, you can't make a turn in there. Topping that, the shower head won't work right, it moves by itself outward to the door, I has to pin it down with one hand and use the other to take shower. The sheet had yellow stain on it and it smells. There are minimum things in the room, including shampoo,body-wash, toothpaste, but that's about it, they don't even have soap. I called for towels, twice, half hour later they finally arrived.
Worst of all, I checked in 1AM in the morning, they asked me to pay extra full day for my stay in addition to my next day staying, said regular check-in time is 2PM. I said fine. However, when I checked out around 130 PM the, they said they had to charge me $20 for late check-out since the check-out time is 1pm. I was furious, I asked why didn't you give me a $20 discount when I checked in 1AM in the morning when I fist moved in?! they finally agree not to charge me. Not the worst hotel I ever stayed, but pretty much it's on my bottom list.

Great location, small rooms, poor service

Service was POOR. First, the reception desk took 10 minutes to find my reservation information. Second, the frige in my room was out of order. I called both the front desk and housekeeping service several times but nobody showed up till almost three hours later. Third, I had something need to be frozen. So, I called the front desk to ask if they can help me. They instantly said no because every room had equipped with one frige (small one without freezer). After I said my previous stays in other hotels usually offer to put my stuff in the big frezzer in the kitchen, they finally said okay, but I had to call the kitchen to explain everything again by myself. I personally brought my stuff to the kitchen, talked to their staff, and specifically asked the thing needed to be frozen. However, when I went to the kitchen next morning to collect my stuff, it was DE-frozen. Everything was MELTing. I was so mad and aske if I can at least have some icecubes to preserve it from the hot weather, to my surprise, the staff asked for extra charge for the ice. The whole experience was extremely unpleasent. I would not stay here again. There are so many other hotels with better price and good location in Singapore.

We use MRT. from Changi Air Port direct to Lavender MRT Station, it's so convenient.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Orchard Rd. shopping street.

lovely room, but a little bit too small. perfect fit to couples, and not recommended for family. perfect location, mrt station 20 meters away from the hotel. there's a 24 hours foot court just before the mrt station. just 1 station away to bugis street (mall and market).

We had 2 nights stay in V Hotel Lavender.
What I loved most about the hotel is its location which is very near the Lavender Station of MRT.
Asid from that, there's a money changer and a lot of restaurants nearby.
They also have lovely staffs who were very approachable.

Fantastic location!
location! its located right on the mrt line, so handy. rooms were small but fine for us, beds very comfy

i travelled with my teenage daugther and this hotel was very easy to get to from the airport on the mrt. checkin was quick and the hotel itself is very modern and clean. we didnt have time to use the pool but it looked lovely. i would definately stay there again and recommend it to my friends.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask for a room away from the elevators!
