One night stopover between flights, perfect location near airport MRT line.
Room was very small but clean. I my mind this hotel is only for short stays. Our window faced inner courtyard, well price was only about 105€ so can't expect much...

Great location and doesn't cost the Earth

This was my forth stay at the V Hotel Lavender over the past couple of years. Because of the timing of my arriving flight from Australia, early check-in is never a problem here. Singapore hotels are very expensive and I am only there for a few days at a time to visit friends, so I only require a comfortable bed and bathroom and the V Hotel fits the bill (even though the rooms are very small). I continually choose this hotel as it's in a fantastic location, with the MRT just beneath the hotel (a 20-25 min trip from the airport on the East-West line), a wonderful 24 hr air con Kopitiam, a lovely bakery, Wendy's, hairdresser, gift shop etc also beneath the hotel. The pool area (encompassing a small gym and a few lovely massage chairs) on the 4th floor is very relaxing (in the shade). It is situated between the hotel's two towers, so the pool doesn't receive any sun on it during the day, making the pool water quite cool. Buffet breakfast is also served next to the pool area, but for the money you pay, it really isn't worth it, so I usually head downstairs and buy something from the food court or bakery.
