one thing people must realise about staying in a singapore is this - rooms are small compared to places such as the usa, canada, australia, bali, uk etc - so expect this when you travel to this wonderful country! so, if you are aware of this, then your stay here will be better!
this is a huge hotel so of course with such a large customer turnover, desk staff arent exactly going to learn your name (as there are a lot of desk staff also) - this isnt rude, this is just a result of 1000s of people going through the doors weekly. one thing about the all the staff here though is they are polite & efficient. being polite/respectful does go a long way as a traveller so i had no trouble with the staff.
however, i witnessed some very rude customers & staff were still dealing with them as nicely as they could in such awkward situations. respect goes both ways, remember!?
room was big (for singapore) and im only in there to sleep so who cares that its not huge?? it was clean, everything seemed new & even though it wasnt needed, staff came in each day to clean/make the bed.
i arrived at 4.15am and was exhausted and was greeted by happy smiling faces on the desk. after going to my room, unfortunately greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke on the bed & curry in the bathroom (yuck!!!!!!), i asked to be moved to another room which was absolutely no problem. the lovely girl at the front desk, isa (i think that was her name) aplogised for this & then came with me to the new room to make sure the room didnt smell & sent someone up to give the bathroom a clean (weirdly enough, the new room's bathroom smelled of curry also!!). she made me feel very welcome & told me to come back anytime if there were any problems.
there are a lot of smokers but this is a non smoking hotel - the stench of cigarette smoke clings to people that makes the room smell (even though its clean) so be aware of this. beds a bit hard as they are new.
pool - stunning!!!
overall - excellent!
Hotel Feature Tip:
ask for a room on a higher floor, overlooking the river, as far away as possible from the lifts. and if you hate smoking and the room smells, dont hesitate in asking nicely for another room until you are happy. they want you to be happy after all!

location above the mrt is the only positive thing i can see here.

arrived late at night to find 5 guys behind the frontdesk either sleeping or playing games on their iphone. probably students trying to make some extra money while working nightshift. got a room on the far end at the 5th floor. long walk and long wait for the elevator. rooms are dark and very small and you will find yourself having problems moving around. bathroom is kinda ok but lots of hair left in the shower sink. tv and bed were acceptable, however there is no free internet provided. i couldnt be bothered with the restaurant on the 4 th floor. swimming pool looked good though. lots of asian travellers. will not go back.

there is a small Convinient Store around the corner, which operates 24 hrs. Nice and friendly staff

it was the first time that we had stayed here but i am sure that we will stay there again. it is away from the hustle and bustle of singapore but it was just a few mins on the mrt from virtually anywhere in singapore and the hotel is virtually on top of the mrt, so it was out of the mrt and you were in your room in 5 mins, and there was a 24hour food court there with plenty of 7/11 deli and a large supermarket in the adjoining streets. the hotel rooms were on the small side but they were adequate for two people, and everything was nice and new which in a hot place like singapore is a bonus
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is so much to do in Singapore to suit everybody's taste from a world best zoo and a world best Bird park to an Island full of fun which is Sentosa Island . Here you can visit the new Universal Studios and also there is Underwater World which is not to be missed, and half a dozen of the best hotels apart from a host of other things to do.

Great location but small rooms

This hotel is affordable however not suited for family.
Recommended for light traveler and businessman.
I have been using this hotel for few times and I have never been let down in terms of service and price.
Nearby, there is a food center that has many kind of local food.
It also quite close to Orchard road and its shopping malls (approx. SGD 8 taxi trip).
The hotel is quite brand new.

Its a decent hotel, located on top of MRT station, which made it a very good place to stay.
There's nothing much in surrounding area unless u prepare to walk 5 blocks away, where you found bugis junction.
However, MRT below, makes everything easy
