great location but rooms very small
clean rooms, handy for the mrt
6.3
if this was a superior room?, then i was glad i did not stay in a standard room!....rooms are very clean but my room was like staying in a prison cell and only suitable for a dwarf!!
Restaurant Tip:
2 blocks away by the jelan besar football stadium, there is a very reasonably priced food center

Small but clean and tidy
Right above subway station
6
tidy modern hotel which met our needs. could hear a lot of hallway noise though. lifts were terriblely slow and often bypassed floors. don't bother with breakfast option as its not worth the extra money. was very sparse and unappetising. also there's plenty of nice eateries just outside the lobby including a bakery. room was sufficient for one night and access to subway which was only a few stops from orchid rd and robertson walk.

Excellent location but very small rooms
7.7
the hotel is located exactly above the lavender mrt station so it is very convenient to move around singapore. you can go to the hotel from the airport by mrt. there are also many shops around including kopitiam (food center) which is open 24 hours.

good location (above lavender mrt station)
7.7
Basic service is good.
If you want additional towels etc., the hotel asks for an additional charge
Internet connectivity is poor inside the room (saw a similar comment from someone else), but if you sit closer to the door of your room it is better.
Food at breakfast buffet is expensive. Quality of buffet not great as well. Cheaper options available in the complex around the hotel

the location near lavender mrt just bellow the hotel.
so transportation is not a problem when you stay here as mrt and bus just few step from hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
For guest don't want pay breakfast at the hotel you stay at the right place as the few step from hotel u can find the food court and lots choice of food and of course cheap

Value for Money Hotel With Great Location
adjacent to mrt station, 24hr coffee shop nearby
7.3
second time to stay in this hotel.
again, the most valuable point for this hotel is the location, connected to lavender mrt, only 4 stations to orchard road.
breakfast not bad too.

Unbeatable location!
Walking distance to SG metro, 24hr food court and money changer
9.3
Stayed in V Hotel's triple room for 4 nights. Loved that the room had an entire wall with a fantastic view - even better than other 5 star hotels in City Hall area. Staff were punctual with requests, trash bins were emptied and we always come back to a clean room after a long day of touring.
Had a little problem with the air conditioning though. Seems to be set at a certain temperature which is a bit warm for our taste, considering Singapore being hot and humid. Would have been great to be greeted with a cool room to rest for the night. Hotel sent someone to fix it but the temperature was still regulated. Aside from that, could have used more toiletry products in the bathroom. There were three of us in the room and they only give 1 small shampoo, lotion and body wash containers. Shower enclosure was too snug and there was no exhaust in the bathroom. Other than that, water pressure was good, hot and cold water was available, and they were very generous with bath towels.
MRT, food court, money changer, bakery, and a souvenir shop were all walking distance from the hotel. Old Chang Kee (fried nuggets on sticks) and Kopithiam (SG and Malaysian food court) are a must try.
Staff were very helpful when checking out. You can also leave your luggage at the hotel lobby after checking out. They'd give you tags so you can collect them later in the day.
Overall, we all enjoyed our stay in V Hotel Lavender. Will book here when we visit Singapore again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
They don't charge anything for outgoing calls to landlines and mobile numbers. This made us super happy!

Nice hotel, but extremely busy and tiny rooms
Friendly staff, location,
5.7
This hotel was overly busy. The reception was always jammed packed of people heading off for tours which caused at least 10 mins to use the lift (which is a long time). They were always full. The internet was useless!!! You had to pay 10SGD and the wireless wasnt strong enough to work in the rooms, I had to use the computer sitting in the corridor outside my room. When I complained they fobbed me off saying high frequency which is stupid as there was no problem in teh corridor. The manager the following night however was much more obliging and helpful about the problem. The rooms were crazily small and bathrooms even more so. Only a few of my party got the big windows with the view, we had the big window but couldnt open the curtains because the other wing of the hotel was directly opposite by about 10 mtrs! The location was good right on the MRT and food court nearby, easy to get around in taxis etc. It was clean and comfortable. The reception were friendly but the restaurant staff were not so.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Breakfast was very average, if its included take it. But if you have to pay additional - go to Wendy's next door!

Great location but small rooms
6
Newly built. The beds are comfy. However, there is no complementary WiFi. If anyone talks outside of your room or knock on the next room you will hear it all. Their is no hand soap but all other common toiletries available. No bathtub, small shower box.And because it is on the line from the airport, if you are coming with luggage, it's great not having to switch at interchange stations.
