Good standard but impersonnal

this is a very big hotel with a lot of in and outs but the organization is good and it's a good place to stay overall. however, a more human and personal touch would have been very welcome. maybe the hotel is at the image of the city: clean and fast so it's a good way to start with sin. if to do it again, we would have chosen a smaller and more peculiar hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Roller caster in Universal Studio is breathtaking.

great located on the top of mrt - lavender

great location... located on the top of mrt - lavender exit... from changi airport - terminal 2, you can take the mrt. you need change train at tanah merah station for trains going to joo koon. you dont need to get out of the station to do this...
room: small but it's clean. has everything that you need for a good night sleep. equipped with a/c, small fridge and flat screen tv. it has tile floors

nice and good hotel, affordable price, there are so many restaurant and bakery shop around hotel, very convenience to go anywhere because mtr station is right below the hotel. easy to get taxi.
but don't ever take breakfast in this hotel , it was very poor

generally, we enjoyed our stay here, it's convenient as the mrt station is just below the same building. price is reasonable, the staff are friendly and helpful. the food especially the hokkien mee at the foodcourt on the ground floor is nice.

Hotel is located next to the subway - MRT.
Very convenient to travel. Decent value for a hotel though there is no breakfast included.
Room was nice though I was given a room without any windows and it was not told to me.......
The hotel is not far from Bugis Junction ( one MRT station away ). There is a big mall and cinema and across the road, there is an alley full of small stalls...... interesting if you like these activities.

the hotel is with an excellent location and just located within 5 minutes from mrt station. and a 24 hours food count is just 2 minutes walkable distance from the hotel. but the room is very small, and housekeeping is not really very good. you can see dust and hair after their housekeeping which is obvious. and live insects can be found in the room and moving in and out .... i counted totally 3 of them although i stayed 4d3n and back to hotel at night only. and no free internet/wifi provided in room or even public area.

Great Location and helpful
The location is great with easy access to the rail system, and essential facititlies. The rooms are tiny but that was fine with us. The staff was very helpful when we had a problem.

We enjoyed our stay in Singapore. Cerytainly VWhen we arrived our room smelt of cigarette smoke even though smoking is banned. We think that possibly some men were smoking in the corridor and the smoke travelled through the aircon system. However, the staff were very helpful and changed our rooms. There is still a smell that permeates the room but this was tolerable. However, the cleaning of the rooms could be improved. The floors were a little sticky. Just take care when using the internet. While we were there, my husband's e-mail account was hacked into. Just take care when logging into the hotel network as there are several sites. We think that maybe a hacker set up an unsecure one catching unsuspecting people like us. Just check that the site you use is secured. We did report it so hopefully the hotel was able to sort it out.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the Hippo Open Bus trip when you first arrive then from that you can determine which sites you wish to focus on. There are several options. We took a limited one which was okay but a more extensive one gives you an opportunity to really experience the city.
