Great Location
Just above Lavender train substation

v hotel lavender is located just above lavender mrt (mass rapit transit) station. it is very convenient to travel around singapore. the hotel is newly build, everything is new. window view from the room is nice. food court offering cheap local food, 24hours convenient store, unique japanese restaurants are all nearby, just beside the hotel.

This is the first time I have booked V Hotel Lavender for a colleague of mine from Thailand. She is full of praise for this hotel and have commented how friendly the counter staffs were. He has really enjoyed her stay in Singapore and praised non stopped on the nicely renovated rooms, which are in modern, clean and comfortable condition.

this is the first time we have stayed in v hotel lavender. service at the counter is ok and the room provided was not as great as those shown in the photo. one plus point is that the hotel is pretty near town, thus travelling time to office and town is short. however, the main road downstairs the hotel is always jam during peak hours, thus taking taxi is not advisable. taking a mrt from downstairs is faster actually.

Great Location but small rooms

v lavender is good for transit hotel. due to it convince location (located on top of mrt station and 24 hour food court). they have wi-fi that you can purchased for daily usage. good choice for budget minded traveller with limited spending time in the room.
when check in try to request from corner room, as it can be noisy with people walking in the alley and talking loudly between rooms.

Great location and convenience.
just next to MRT Station and food court below the hotel.

Everything is good and the small room size is as expected. However, for such a new hotel, the mold that has grown all over the toilet ceiling is very disgusting and unacceptable. there is no ventilation system in the toilet to remove the moisture, thus the mold growth.
Apart from that, the room is kept in clean condition.

Nice, modern hotel in a quiet neighborhood

the v hotel is nicer than i expected for this price point and i was very happy with the quality and level of cleanliness overall. the staff were efficient and helpful with whatever i needed. the hotel is right next to an mrt station so going anywhere was fast and convenient, though the famous orchard road is only 5-10 min taxi ride away. the only real negative was the very slow wi-fi internet.
Restaurant Tip:
The local food courts are better than expected and sample them before heading to farther areas.

Great staff in a hotel with no atmosphere

The location of v lavender is great,close to shopping,mrt,restaurants etc but thats about as good as it gets.
The hotel has no atmosphere at all,the lobby is very small,going to the elevators you feel as if you are walking through a lost luggage office,one wall completely covered in guests luggage that have checked out.
The twin room (only one on offer through Agoda) was very small,it would be ok for 1 person on business but there isnt room for 2 people unless you are in bed.The air con was great (because of small room) the flatscreen tv was really good.Breakfast is not worth bothering about,it is served near the pool,they have 2 breakfast stations and i discovered that one had far mor choice than the other.I asked a chef if there was chance of a fried egg and was politely told that "in this hotel it is the managers decision that there would only be scrambled egg",he also said that a fried egg would cost around $13,i decided to go without.The toasting machine is the worst ive ever seen,creating a que of 6 guests waiting for what was infact warm white bread not toast.
would I stay here again,no i wouldnt.
Restaurant Tip:
There are many eating places around the hotel all serving good food,dont waste time and money on the hotels food.
