v hotel is in an excellent location and with a mrt station in the ground floor at the back of the hotel it is so so handy for getting around. the pool is excellent but the gym is more of an exercise bike room. the food at the pizza restaurant was very impressive. def have the duck pizza.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat at the Pizza restaurant one night. the food options in Singapore are endless but the pizza there was great.

Again, Great location but small rooms
Location, there was a 24 hr food court downstairs and the hotel is conveniently located near the MRT

arriving at singapore, my friends and i decided to take the mrt from changi airport to the hotel. the ride on the mrt was easy to locate and took only about 20-30 minutes to get to the hotel (get off at lavender, single ticket is sgd$3 - return the ticket for a refund). i recommend if you arrive at singapore before 7pm and plan to travel around the city, consider investing in a tourist pass.
the hotel was not hard to find. when we reached the hotel, the hotel staff was friendly and nice. just a warning though: the actual housekeeping ladies may not speak english. overall it was a good experience. the pool on the 4f is an outdoor pool, which is nice even if you want to go for just a dip.
also the hotel offers wi-fi, just ask the front-desk. it's valid for 24 hrs after the usage time. if you want more, just ask the front-desk for more wi-fi codes.
Hotel Feature Tip:
the rooms are small. i highly recommend you stay here only if you intend not to stay in the room for long. so it's a good hotel for people who travel a lot.

it was so easy to get there from changi airport .... the hotel is right above the mrt exit (make sure you turn right after coming through the turnstiles or you end up on the other side of the road!) the room was not huge but perfectly adequate and the bathroom had a shower and no tub - i prefer that as i am a bit nervous about slipping when stepping into or out of the tub. i didn't pay for breakfast but they had a buffet by th pool, i think it is s$14 for guests. however there are loads of food places in the vicinity - i went to wendy's for only s $4.99!!! would have no hesitation in recommending v hotel lavender to anyone who needs to stay in singapore but is not looking for a luxury resort.

Great location if you are traveling alone and use public transport .... The system in Singapore is excellent

Does not deserve to be called 4 Star Hotel

Very disappointed with this hotel. Closet sized hotel room, although clean. Some floors very noisy and dirty corridors. Appaling breakfast, inedible, no service, dirty tables. No late check-out option, they'll charge you S$20/hour after 12noon. Only positive was the friendly staff at the counter upon check-in/check-out. Other than that we'll never stay there again, we'll pay a few dollars more and get a better hotel next time.

Ask for a room from 12th floor onwards.

Nice location, small rooms
the hotel is right above the lavender mtr stop

went to singapore for four days and the lavender hotel suited me fine. the hotel is over the mtr lavender stop, so you can catch the train from changi airport to the lobby of the hotel in about 35 mins.
the hotel has a food court outside its door so finding something to eat is no problem. the hotel room was fine for a single traveller, but the bathroom was small and cramped. the t.v only shows a couple of stations in english also.

this 888 room hotel is very affordable especially for it's location which is right at the lavendar mrt. it is only a few stops to the town and orchard. the hotel is pretty new and hence everything looks very fresh. highly recommended if you are looking for a decent place just to sleep.
