the hotel can improve by getting some good quality front desk staff and by being transperent about some of the rooms which do not have a good view.
improving the quality of the breakfast should be quite easy. besides these improvement areas, the hotel is vfm.

Lovely hotel with great location
The hotel is very convenient with helpful staff, great location, clean and neat.

this is the first time i stay at v hotel, comparing to my previous stays at other hotels, i put two thumbs up for the service of this hotel. location is very convenient with seconds walk from both mrt and bus stand. the only minus point is that the room size is too small, and the bathroom is also too small. staffs are all very friendly and helpful. i'd like to stay again at v hotel during my next visit to singapore. keep up..
Restaurant Tip:
No matter what time you need to fill your stomach, there is a "Kopi Tiam" located just next door to the hotel, and it opens 24 hours. The food there is great and prices are affordable.

Great location but small room and unfriendly staff

My husband & I stayed in a Superior room for 3 nights. When we checked in, the reception staff seemed to be more interested in their own conversations than us. There were hardly any smiles from the staff throughout our entire stay. Since this was our first time in Singapore and we had not stayed at any other hotels there before, we have nothing to compare it with. However, the room was extremely small and it was not easy to get around our two medium-sized suitcases. The bathroom was also very small and reminded me of one on a cruise ship. The shower was quite badly designed and the water splashed everywhere and soaked the entire bathroom/toilet floor. Pluses: hotel is literaturely just behind Lavender MRT, making transport extremely convenient. There is an OK food court also right behind the hotel, but you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to food in Singapore so I would only go to that food court if I was desperate. Overall, the hotel was OK as we spent most of our time out of it and only came back there to sleep. If you don't have very high expectations and are on a budget, give V Hotel Lavender a go.

this hotel is very easy to go from changi airport which is only 7 mrt station. it takes only 1 mrt line which is good for passenger to carry the luggage. the transportation fee is very cheap. moreover, there are many shop around the hotel: restaurant, beauty salon, bakery and etc. before we take the flight in the evening, we can left luggage there and free of charge. when i went there, i went to sentosa island, merlion, singaporeflyer, chinatown, orchard rd where are a lot of interesting place. it will be in my family memory forever.

good hotel with very small 'superior' rooms

New 4 Star hotel if you like all new furniture, new shining marbles etc but rooms are very small. Shower room you can barly move. No soap/liquid to wash hands - you must use shower gel hand wash and in shower.
Housekeeping extremely bad. I had to ring twice after 5 P.M. as room was not cleaned only to be told room is cleaned only if authorised as there may be valuables in the room. First time I heard this escuse in such category hotel. Even after that most days rooms were cleaned only after 3 p.m.in the afternoon many times while Ihad to wait outside.
As hotel has lots of group booking they dont care for individual booking. Internet Wi-Fi after paying 10 S$ per day does not work or works at very slow speed that you are forced to go to cyber cafe.
Hotel is meant for group travellers or tourists visiting Singapore and not for business travellers or individual.

The location of the hotel is quite ok coz it's just next to Lavender MRT station. However, the hotel itself is really not worth to recommend to anyone.
The hotel lobby is small and packed with groups all the time. The attitude of the front line staff was non-polite and un-professional. The bath room is tiny, as well as the shower area, you hardly can turn around inside the shower room. Regards to the wireless connection, I think it's ridiculous that hotel charge SGD10 for a 24 hours pass which the connection is extremely poor. I tried for 2 hours and not able to connect to the so called wireless connection, and when I made a complain to the Front Desk, their response pissed me off that they said the poor connection is just because too many use the connection on the same floor and nothing they can do to solve it...!!! That is the most ridiculous response I had ever heard from a hotel representative.
So, in conclude, it's a bad hotel and not recommend to anyone unless you are fine with such low quality of service standard.

Clean and Tidy hotel

the hotel room is clean and tidy, although it is a bit too small. i think it is good for single traveler instead of a couple. everything inside the hotel room would be enough if you are not expecting too much with a reasonable hotel prices. i enjoyed my stay there, plus there is a 24-hours food court down at the ground floor, its very convenience for getting drinks and foods. in overall, i suggest visitor who wanna stay over for a short trip and enjoy the time in singapore.
