Clean hotel
Location on top of a subway station

The rooms at V Lavendar are small but sufficient. We did not go to Singapore to stay in our room, so the size was not an issue. The rooms were very modern and clean (they remind me of a cruise ship room, in relation to size). The hotel is not located in the heart of downtown Singapore. However, the hotel is located above a subway station, which is very convenient (especially when it's raining because you don't have to go outside to get from the subway station to the hotel). The hotel does not serve breakfast, but there was a little bakery shop within a minute of the hotel lobby. The little bakery had plenty of breads and doughnut options. There is also a hawker center foodcourt and Wendy's within a minute of the lobby. Although the hotel is not in the center of Singapore, it is only a 10 minute or so Subway ride to downtown. The subways are clean, air-conditioned, and inexpensive. I would recommend taking the subway to downtown. It was also very easy to get from the airport to the hotel on the subway. It took about 20 minutes to make the journey from the airport.

the hotel is very nice... front desk are accomodating specially the filipinos. good value for money. the room is clean and neat but small space for the room and bathroom. very close for transportation.

Decently Nice Hotel and Great Location
Great location, very convenient, clean room with decent size

Its my first stay at this hotel and I really like it because for a budget hotel their room lobby is pretty decent with nice carpet and the room is clean. And I really like their bed mattress and the quilt, its so comfortable.
Most important is convenience because their location is terrific since it's just beside lavender mrt. Its very near to Bugis and Orchard area. Not only that, there is a foodcourt right beside the hotel that sells a lot of nice food. I will definitely visit back.

this is a quite good hotel in singapore because it has convenient location as it nearby the mrt station, easy to access there and average price for the hotel and its facilities.
the time when i went there, i was surprised as there were many food court and restaurants nearby i.e just next to the hotel and they opened 24-hour everyday.

the hotel is just on top of the levander station which is very convenient to the city center. the room is clean but a bit small, it's fine for tourist as you will not stay too long in the room. people from the hotel is nice and helpful. the air conditioning is strong enough and sufficient hot water. good deal.

the only i like this hotel only the location, near the mrt and bus station, and food for 24 hours.
we must buy sgd10 for internet access for 24 hours, but actually les than 20hours, will be unaccessible.
my booked already included breakfast, but the waitress need to re confirm to to front desk... and i lost my appetite, as the waitress need more than 5 minutes, even i can show it to her the booking print-out from agoda.
the queing in the restaurant itself is terrible.
foods finish before the last quer.
the room is too small for me and my kid.

great budget hotel
just right at the lavender train station, beside the eating place, affordable clean rooms

i always stay at v hotel because its cheap yet the rooms have a great view, plus the location is good. from this hotel, you can travel anywere in sg using the train station right behind the hotel. this is the only budget hotel that isnt ugly looking. relatively new hotel. they also got a swimming pool so it isnt so bad.
Restaurant Tip:
kopi kiam is behind the hotel where you can eat cheap but yummy meals.

location is fantastic. above mrt. room is small, but clean and tidy and the hotel has some ok features. pool is great and the gym is not to bad for a small hotel. you can get your runs in and swims in. very busy hotel and peak periods are crazy. but overall, the location and price is worth it and the gym/pool
