I stayed for a night at V Hotel Lavendar. Having read the reviews about the hotel, I was prepared for its small rooms. When I first arrived in the evening, I was greeted by their very helpful concierge who made the check-in procedure a breeze. I was also assigned to a room at the 14th floor (the 15th being the highest) as I had requested for high floor. Unfortunately, the room that I was assigned to happened to be located nearest to the lift and it was rather noisy whenever people walked pass as the room was not sound proof. Also, the room did not have any view and I could not look through the window. When I first stepped into the room, there was a musty smell which was quite unbearable. The room was tiny but as I was the only one who occupy the room, it was all right. The toilet was also quite small and there isn't a bath tub just a simple overhead shower. Toiletries are provided, contrary to previous reviews. Also, there was a safety lock and a hairdryer in the room. TV, cupboard and furniture were all brand new so it was quite value for money. You should certainly drop by the pool at 4th floor as it is rather big and it would be relaxing to have a swim there. The gym is small but decent as well. Do note that check in is at 2pm and check out timing is 11am and there will be extra charges if you require late check out or early check in.
Restaurant Tip:
You might wanna try its in house restaurant 12-inch Pizzas and Records, operated by the famous Timbre Group, features Timbre's widest range of oven-baked 12-inch pizzas, complemented by eclectic interiors. It sells nice affordable savoury and sweet (dessert) thin crust pizzas and you could also choose from over a wide range of fresh salads, hearty main courses, pastas and appetizers. Must tries are the signature roast beef LP Sandwich which comes in both 12 or 7 inches long sizes and the Goodfellas pizza with shrimps and crispy egg cereals on a garlic butter and curry sauce base.

But the room is very small and the bath booth is quiet small.
If you will just sleep at the hotel and not use any facilities, I would like to recommend this hotel.

the location is good which just a minute walk from mrt station ew11. only few stations to city center and other sightseeing venues. the room is very small and facility is simple. no soap provided, only one towel for each person. the room only suitable for sleeping but the bed is also small too.
i request double bed and high floor from agoda online but only got twins bed and lowest floor. the receptionist only say not available without any intention to check for it.
in general, the hotel is suitable for single traveler.

New hotel, great location but small room
Room very small but clean. MRT is a step away from the hotel.

The room was very small and hardly find place for luggage. Window facing opposite room window. Must close the curtain at all times for privacy. Bathroom so small and hardly move inside the shower cubicle. Lack of hotel amenities. No hand towel, no glass for brushing teeth inside the bathroom. AC so cold. Must turn it off during night time as the AC controller seemed broken.
No signage for "clean the room" or "do not disturb". We left our room from morning until 5 o'clock and it was not cleaned up yet. We asked one of the housekeeping attendant to clean it up and he was fast. Very satisfied with his quick response.
Good location. MRT is just a step away. Nice restaurant in the surrounding area. Shoplots of Singapore famous old chang kee and bee cheng hiang just by the walk path of the hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Try Singapore best mi Pork Tai Hwa just located at the apartment opposite of the hotel. Behind the immigration office. The soup very rick in pork stock. Took us 30 min in queue. My advice, order everything once you get your turn.
