Expensive, but was there on F-1 race weekend and all hotels were expensive that weekend. Caters to some bus tour groups, but wide range of guests during my stay. Rooms somewhat spartan - no carpet, tiled floor, but quiet. Comfortable bed, shower is excellent. Close to Little India. Buffet breakfast on 4th floor is outside and quite pleasant. Fitness center, on 4th floor, is adequate - not too much equipment, but not crowded. Pool is on 4th floor as well.
Restaurant Tip:
Komalas Vilas - not too far, outstanding vegetarian Indian food, very inexpensive, simple.

Great location, walking distance to lavender mrt, all kind of shops nearby made it a hassle free trip to us in singapore. The guys at concierge provide good service and great in giving directions!
But the room and bed r very small for the expensive rate that we paid. The room only fit for the queen size bed n hard to move around. Housekeeping was very bad. During our 1st day they missed a lot of things. The mug was exactly the way we left it and no new shower gel for us. worse, that housekeeper didnt speak english.n i really dont understand how their lift system is. So many lifts but we wait forever to get into one which was always almost full!

Nice hotel with good service
Good location, Great service and nice clean rooms.

stayed here over the gp weekend and it was a great choice. plenty of food options nearby and transport links are great. lavender mrt station is at the base of the hotel and there is a shuttle bus for the gp circuit. rooms are very clean if a little small, but thats to be expected in singapore. overall good hotel and one i would stay in again.

Indeed was a good location but service was bad..front desk was not friendly. Not returning nor recommend to friend for stay..

We had a great stay at V Hotel because it was so close to the MRT station. What didn't work though is that the rooms were small and that package didn't have breakfast.

Hotel is good value for your money. Nothing fancy and small room. My room had a blocked window but I was just there to sleep so no big deal. There also seemed to be a pool on the 4f but didn't have time to check it out. Location is good--very close to the center and MRT is right below hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

24hr eating below the hotel and right on top of the train station (no noise though). New, Clean and stylish hotel with adequate rooms.
Restaurant Tip:
short stroll to LIttle India for great eating places - esp Dehli Restaurant in front of Broadway Hotel 195 Serangoon Rd...delux!
