OK for cost conscious but not recommended

positives:
the hotel is above lavander mrt station, one stop from bugis, and hence also easy to get to/from the airport. it is also adjacent to a cheap food centre
the hotel has a nice large outdoor pool and as the hotel is recently built facilities are currently in good condition. the rooms have kettles and fridges
negatives:
the rooms are small and many look directly into other rooms and hence has little privacy if the curtains are open. the rooms have poor soundproofing and one can hear anyone in the corridors. the shower stall is tiny, no soap was provided and there is no plug in the sink. the pillows are of cheap quality. the staff are young and inexperienced.they will charge you to leave luggage for more than a day.
this hotel would therefore only be ok for a backpacker or someone on a tight budget that accepts the hotel will have deficiencies.

Great location but bad house keeping

my wife and i stayed at this hotel for about a week. although we enjoyed staying there, there were a few things that irritated us.
first of all, lets start with the positive. this hotel is just above the lavender mrt station so it is very easy to get around. the hotel is just a few mrt stops away from changi airport as well. also, this hotel is located just above a kopi tiam food court with a huge selection of food. sadly, most of the workers (cashier and waiters) cannot speak proper english so i found myself repeating several times. the facilities in this hotel are quite nice especially the swimming pool.
next is the negative about this hotel. first of all, the housekeeping was not very good. the first two days we stayed in the hotel, the didn't even clean our room. we had to use old wet towels. only after we called did they actually cleaned our room. next was that v hotel promoted free wifi internet access on this website but when we arrived that was not the case. they charged us s$10 per day for internet.
all in all, the hotel was okay. one reason we would consider staying there again is the excellent location.

Good hotel very near to MRT station

My Check in is very smooth and fast. The check out is also very fast. The hotel is just next to the Lavender MRT station. For travelling with MRT, it is very convenient. Taking a taxi to Orchard Road is also very convenient.
The hotel room is reasonably spacious and wifi is available at SGD10 only. The hotel is very busy and I can see there are always a lot of people checking in and out.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the MRT to the next station Bugis, there is this famous Bugis square. For shopping, Bugis Square offers a large variety of value for money stuff. Nearby there is this famous street for Chinese steam boat from China and local Singaporean. Almost the whole street is offering the steam boats. Some shops offer nice desserts.

this hotel is two prong construction building, by this i mean it is two separated building. when booking this hotel request room located on the outer side, if you get a room on the inside your view will be other rooms. the hotel is located directly on top of the lavender mrt station, which on the green line that runs directly from the airport. the rooms are very small in size. i booked a twin room and stayed in the room by myself. if there had been another person in the room it would be very difficult to move around without bumping into each other. the bathroom is also very tiny but practical and clean. breakfast is good nothing special. there is a gym which is also small. mixed review with the staff, very professional reception staff , other staff rude. i think it’s a singapore thing, very efficient without personality. the hallway gives a strange feel as one gets the feeling your on the matrix set. the cubic design gives the impression the hallway never ends. the overall hotel gives a sterile impression without character.

Hotel V Lavender is nice, clean and affordable hotel.
Close to Lavender MRT Station and not to far from Funan Center, Clarke Quay which is very convenient to shop or great dining experience.
Next to Kopitiam, small hawker center which serving range of culinary products, is another additional benefit to the guests

Surprisingly nice hotel but small rooms
Good quality fittings, good housekeeping, nice pool, great value, convenient location, close to MRT

Entire stay there was pleasant and the value for money was
amazing considering Singapore's exorbitant rates for the
F1 GP week.
Staff were helpful though not exactly friendly.
The mini food mall connected to the hotel and the
MRT station directly underneath made the location
very convenient.
They should have at least provided free WIFI at
the lobby.
