Had a nice stay at the hotel. breakfast was good had a variety of food, they have a big swimming pool.
Nightlife Tip:
Clarke Quay very nice place to go at night, good food , good music (Dejavu Singapore really good band). Zouk - 3 niteclubs next to each other had great time there, they had happy hours on drinks also buy one get one free!!!

Great location, but disappointing customer service
Great location. Great showers. God cleaning service. Lovely reception. Brilliant pool facility. Helpful door men. Great window views in bedrooms.

Fab location close to MRT.
Bad breakfast service- once you had finally received your vouchers for breakfast it was served outside and was a buffet so was all cold with long queues for the toaster etc. There was also not enough seats so we had to sit around the far side of the restaurant which was not serviced and in a strong. Staff were not supportive r kind about one another and used racist terms when refereing to one another. Very slow lift service too. You also have to pay for use of wifi.
Bedroom was smart, small, and clean with a comfortable bed and great views over the city.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Head to Clark Quay on an evening for live singing and great sea food!

New hotel at the great location
located above the MRT, near bus station and kopitiam (foodcourt)

V hotel is a new hotel. which like any new hotel, the room is "still" clean, using LCD, and have modern minimalist style.
price is reasonable.
breakfast is not so great, but kopitiam foodcourt bellow can become an alternative.
Lavender MRT and bus station just a 1 minute walk from the hotel front door. So very convenient to go anywhere from hotel.
one bad experience in this hotel though, my wife white scarf is missing at the room after the clean up.
but the manager of the hotel do all his effort to find or compensate so even in the end the scarf is still missing, we appreciate the hotel effort.
I recommend the hotel for traveler who prefer hotel location than hotel feature with not so much budget.
Restaurant Tip:
Lavender foodcourt just 2 bus station away from the hotel.
Ko Kee wonton noodle is one of the recommended food at the foddcourt.

just stayed at this hotel as we had a 1 night stopover before a connecting flight. rates at the crowne plaza opposite the airport were over the top so we thought we'd come into town and stay at the v lavender as it was a fairly new hotel with a good location & great rates.
was happy overall for a quick stop over.
it was a relatively small room with a very small bathroom but it was neat & clean with a television which was all we really required.

Very busy hotel, quite clean and friendly staff. Very efficient systems and professional service. One particular day the Durian smell on the floor where my room was almost unbearable. all in all a good experience. the most important for me was the ability to commute conveniently and very affordable for a regular business traveler. will recommend to a friend.
Hotel Feature Tip:
you can come out of the Lavendar MRT to the hotel through the under pass.

Near MRT, it's a great place to stay in Singapore.
Nice view of Singapore, very accessible to public transport. Nice rooms. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel stockroom beyond check-out time and we were allowed to check-in early at 10 AM even if check-in time was really 2PM yet.

The hotel has lots of guests. The lobby would often be full of noisy tourists. But our room was clean and comfortable. The TV was flat screen and modern. Though we didn't have remote control for our TV provided by the hotel. The view of Singapore was so nice from the open-air restaurant somewhere near the top floor of the hotel. It's a modern hotel worth coming back.

i guess you get what you pay for. it was good value in terms of cost but i paid for a room with breafast included and wasn't given my vouchers on arrival. when i requested my vouchers i felt it was an effort for the man to give them to me. there is no information in the rooms about what time to checkout, what to do if you require and iron, how to control the temperature in your room, where to find the restaurant etc... it is also very cheply made in terms of noise reduction it's noisy, you can hear everything going on in the corridor from when people get out of the lift.
