the room is clean but unfortunately the bed is not as comfortable. the location near the famous bakut teh restaurant (forgotten the name), famous chicken rice boon tong kee and shaw plaza where you can find 24hrs mc.d and theatre. there is direct bus from this hotel to orchard road and about 4 bus stops to nearest mrt station (novena). the facility of the hotel is standard.
Shopping Tip:
Mustafa centre where you can find many things from perfume, chocolate, souvenier, electronics, etc. There is direct bus to mustafa centre.

i've been a regular to this hotel since july 2010 and until now this hotel never fails to impress me each time i stay here. for a budget hotel, value nice seems to be a good catch. the price is worth it. small bu8t clean and the location is strategic, 1-2 mins walk from bus stop.
Restaurant Tip:
the famous "loykee" is only 2 blocks away from value nice. from the hotel lobby turn right. they serve the best chicken rice sg has to offer. =)

Small but very Clean Hotel, Modern Look

Been staying at this hotel for a couple of times now and they never fail to impress me each time I visit. Friendly staff, clean rooms, shower/rest room has a hot shower w/c is a plus! YES it's quite small but it's ok since it's a budget hotel, overall, the price/budget fits the hotel, it has a modern look/feel too.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a lot of food joints/convenience store near the hotel, you just walk to walk to get there. Also the famous "Loy Kee" is near, around 2-3 minutes walk only

Bus Stop in front of Hotel
It is very convient for us as the bus stop just in front of the hotel.It makes us save time ,it is because we not need to walk from the MRT Station for 15-20 mins. And, the bus stops are many buses to take us to different region, such as marina bay, Little India.
Near attractive point
The hotel is near a lot of attractive point, such as "Little India", China Town.
Food
There are different type of food near the Hotel.For example, at the back side of hotel have the fruit market. And, there are "Haian Chicken Rice", "Kaya Toast" and "Bah Kut Teh" nearby.
Room Size & Hygiene
We stay in the Superior Room Type and it is quite clear, however, i think it is pretty small for 2 people. It don 't have enough space to place our luggage.
