Great location but small rooms
7.3
We enjoyed the stay though the room was small. Front desk staff was very frienly and pleasant always obliging. Lak of window and outside view was a drawback. Value for money though.

Good place for short stay
Good stuff, safe place, wi-fi
7
Everything was OK about our stay. Nice people working there have been really helpful with any advice. We were leaving our valuable staff in the room as well as in hotel safe. The one and the biggest disadventage is size if the room that was about 2 x2,5 m and the bathroom was really tiny as well. Consider it if you travel for longer and if plan to spend in your room more than only nights to get some sleep before nextbday of sightseeing.

Great welcome at 2am
Excellent customer service, friendly, great location

The hotel was perfect for my stay.
It was in the right area, quiet with shop next door and restaurants in walking diatance.
The rooms are small but clean and great for a few nights stay.

Great location & superb service
professional hospitality which can be compare to a 5 star hotel
7.3
Professional hospitality compatible with a 5 star hotel from check in and through out the stay till check out.
Restaurant Tip:
There's Whampoa food court just behind the hotel area and convenient shop such as 7-11 or cheers within walking distance. Also a 24hrs dumpling shop just a door away from the hotel selling dumpling, and some local delicacy such as teochew snack.

I’ve read countless SG hotel reviews and most, if not all, comment on the size ≠ cost of the rooms. We all know that already, it’s just a matter of getting the most out of your money.
Value Nice Hotel falls under the “economical” category. The essentials are there – clean fluffy sheets, holeless towels, basic toiletries, hot water for shower, bottled water (refilled daily). The TV mounted on the wall has good reception and a good selection of english channels.
The blackout curtains were really nice to have, and it kept us sound asleep until 8am. We could have stayed in bed longer if not for the shrill voices of the housekeeping staff. Regardless of the time, hotel staff should keep their voices down.
Since the hotel does not offer breakfast, you can either go to Cheers or to the dumpling store just a few steps away from the hotel’s main entrance to tide you over.
If you can still hold your hunger a little longer, just 2 streets away is Loy Kee, where they serve the best Chicken Rice in town for SGD 7.
If you’re craving for something familiar (and fatty), 3 streets away you’ll find Mcdonald’s.
If you want more variety, there’s a hawker center (Whampoa Makan) located just a street away.
As for the amenities, they really don’t have much, except for 2 computers that you may use for your web check-ins and Facebook updates.
Next to the accommodation spaces and hotel rooms, the staff is the hotel’s next claim to fame. Kelwe Yoon really stood out from the rest of the staff. His eagerness to help and his enthusiasm to know how your day went makes him a very good asset of the hotel chain. The others were not as lively and accommodating, something I think they should work on.

Nice Hotel and Worth for Money, Nice Location too
Location, Deco, Value for money
8.7
Although the rooms are small, staff are providing very good service and the rooms are very nice. Location is superb, able to catch a cab anytime and shopping mall nearby. Oddysey bus back to Malaysia also within 5 minute walking distance. Will definitely stay here again if i come by coach from Malaysia.

Value for money hotel
Affordable, Whampoa food market nearby
7
Hotel with basic amenities, good if you need only a place to crash during the night. Rooms are small and the shower is quasi non-existant (toilet with showerhead). Be careful with eating in the room though, there were ants everywhere in the room.
Restaurant Tip:
For cheap eats and an experience of local food, go for Whampoa food market that is located behind the hotel. Ask the hotel staff for directions.
