value hotel thomson is a nice clean hotel with excellent amenities. although the room was a tad small, it was tastefully furnished, with a 32 inch lcd tv with plenty of channels to surf. the free lan internet connection (included via booking with agoda) was a great addition to business travelers.
the hotel was located within walking distance of novena mrt station, and also the buses to the cbd, orchard and marina bay.

Great location but small rooms

friendly staffs. the room is tidy and clean although its very small. its ideal to stay here if you only want to rest after a long day. the hotel is in a very accessible location, near bus stops and mrt station.
Shopping Tip:
Try buying their local brands if you are going to the mall. the best brand thats cheap and still has a good quality is: Cotton On!

the room is small but clean make us feel quite comfort.
the location is quite far from mrt station so we should go there by bus.

hotel is clean, well managed. to my opinion around the same size as ibis but with much more reasonable cost.
location wise, close to many restaurants and several food court. walking distance away from novena mall (also mrt station).
free wifi is definitely a plus point (some hotel charge by hourly-daily rate).
room and bathroom is small (to be expected for budget hotel in singapore).
all in all a very reasonable budget hotel in singapore. recommended and preferable over ibis (for the cost), and value balestier (no window).
Shopping Tip:
Novena MRT station is about 15 mins walk away. And it's only two train stop away from Orchard.

Value hotel is rather a new budget hotel. room is small but clean and pleasant but the sound proofing is quite bad. not near to any MRT station but public transportation in Singapore is not a big issues. public bus stop is nearby. disappointed with no complimentary parking for hotel guest. a over night parking is quite costly, $10. front desk staffs are polite n helpful. fast n easy check in n out. surrounded with lot of good restaurants and food outlet in the coffee shops.

Was stayed a few times in this hotel. Personally i prefer this Thomson value hotel compared to the 1 located at Balestier. Rooms here is more spacious and located right front of my favorite *tao sah peah* shop. A typical 3-stars hotel for me. The room is clean.

Nice new hotel in a good spot

I really enjoyed staying here, but the only problem was that all the sound from the hallway resonated into the room. Apart from that I couldn't fault the hotel.
