Great location but small room

It was my first time in Singapoor.I knew the hotels there they are expensive.So I got what I was especting concerning the room and the price,the room was small and the television on the wall at the left side of the bed,what is very strange and uncomfortable.It was very clean ,aircon and bathroom were fine.The hotel has a very good location ,anyway in this city the comunications are perect.You have a small restaurant just at the floor level of lthe hotel for brekfast and diner with afordables prices.I was alone and visiting the city all day so for that it was good,no more needs.
Travel tip:
Mainly to visit the city.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful especially concierge. Please help to update the map to reflect brash basar mrt station. Only about 2 to 3 mins walking distance to Victoria hotel. At the restaurant, I checked on the menu found that the cost is above the average market price.

standard as expected for the price. excellent choice of eateries walking distance. bus-stop directly outside hotel. mrt within 3-min walk, especially city hall which comes from changi airport. slightly further but walkable are raffles hotel, orchard road, bugis, singapore arts museum

I'd booked a single room and was surprised by the size of the bed and room. I'd expected a small bed with barely any space to put my luggage and bathroom to be tiny. But the single bed was a good size and the shower was of a good size too with pressure adjusting head. And there was plenty of space to move around. A small fridge and even a hairdryer was provided. So pretty good for a basic hotel although it is a little more pricey but accommodation in Singabore is expensive anyway.

"Nice Hotel with accomodating staff"

money is worth staying in this hotel,room is cleaned, bedding's are changed and topping up of bottled water, coffee, milk and sugar is done daily. just across the road a 24 hour food service operates with affordable price. wifi connection is slow but not a major issue. staff are helpful, highly recommended to everyone who wants to visit singapore.

You have everything at your fingertips. The room though small has everything - multi-country electrical sockets, internet, drinking water, nice hot shower, clean towels -- just about everything. The air-conditioning worked like a dream - Reception was courteous. They had our rooms keys ready at check-in and helped with a lot of information about Singapore.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is closer to the Bras Basah station on the MRT than it is to Bugis though it entails some line changing. Day passes though are available only at Bugis.

Reasonably priced but not as charming

a small hotel well situated for tourists eager to commute. there is a bus stop in front of the hotel and the bras basah mrt station a few blocks away. staff is young and helpful. ask them for assistance if you need help on transport or your itinerary. the rooms are ok for their size. quite clean. but the furnishing is old and dated. the bathroom doesn't have an exhaust; only a window to let the stink out. they also don't have bar soap so you have to use the shampoo to wash your hands. the tv is the size of a computer monitor. the pillows gave us stiff neck. if you just want a clean, cheap place to crash, go for the victoria. but if you can spare a little more money, better go somewhere else.

Budgeting here hard to do.....this was one of cheapest I could find in this location. For Singapore prices I suppose its ok value for money, nothing special but staff were great and was clean.
Restaurant Tip:
Stick with food markets/street food. its awesome and the restaurants are mostly a rip off for what you get.
