I will surely recommend Victoria Hotel to my family and friends. The deluxe room is spacious enough for 2 persons. The front desk staff are helpful about getting around the city, they even told us that there's a free shuttle going to Universal Studio. The housekeeper is friendly every morning she greets you and ask if you want complimentary bottled water. The location of the hotel is in the center of the city. Right outside of the hotel there's a bus stop, few minutes walk you're in MRT station, mall and food center. I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.

glad i was only there short stay, my standard room basic and fairly small ,with window view of back alley.. no b/fast room in this budget hotel....a plus was comp; water and safe.and location was good for transport, just few mins walk you can get local busNo 36 to airport all Terminals,fare SGD 2.10.

Stay was good. Easy to reach from airport, very easy to travel around singapore. The CC MRT was only about2 minutes walk from hotel (walk out back of hotel, turn left, turn right at next street and MrT is on left. Bugis and City Hall also in easy walking distance and Bugis,Junction shopping mall a few blocks away. Wifi didn't always work well in room, but was good in lobby.

Very basic hotel in a great location

We stayed in a superior room however I would class the room as very basic and quite small. If we were not in such an expensive City I would have been really annoyed at the price we payed for such a room. On the plus side, the air con was great and the hotel is placed directly in between two different MRT lines.

The Victoria is a budget hotel so you get what you pay for. The room was small and a bit noisy. However, it was reasonably clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The big advantage is its proximity to major bus routes, the MRT and Bugis Junction.
Shopping Tip:
The refreshed Bugis Junction is just up the road. The foot hall there has great value offerings.

What an very fast and early Check-In time!!! (At 9.00 am in the morning), can you imagine that???

wowww...i think that's the first word that i can described to this hotel standart services!!! very polite front desk services, what they do to me was a very extraordinary in that early morning! how come doh? at the same day in the early morning, at 8.00 am, i'm booked via agoda.com and after that, i took a cab away to that hotel and just arrived at 8.50 am. after that i'm welcomed with a great smile by front desk staff, they check my document and right away after that, they give me a room just as exactly as i mentioned in my condition form in agoda.com
once again...wowww...i get the fast check-in time in my life (but the most is...this is happened in singapore doh...can you imagine it??? check-in time at 9.00 in the early morning??? do you all believe that??? lolololollllllll...)
the point i want to say is...great...great...great...hotel with that kind of star rate! amazing doh...
