Sitting bang right in the middle of the famed Orchard Road is this moderately priced accommodation. The YMCA International House is on the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station and bus-stop, making travel anywhere around this city relatively easy. Several business, shopping centers as well as the Chicago School of Business are located at this MRT junction. Despite being a budget accommodation, there is a Coffee Shop on the premises, which serves all meals including value-for-money set meals. A budget hotel does not get any better, with an outdoor pool, fitness center as well as recreational courses available to guests.

Good hotel for the budget-conscious traveller who still needs a hotel that is clean and neat.
- Shopping Tip : Singapura Mall is a short 10 minute walk, or less, from the hotel. There are lots of bargains in the market stalls outside the shopping centre with lots of bargains just after Christmas.

- Restaurant Tip : Kopitchiam is located across the street and a block over from the hotel. Very good place to eat. Also, a subway sandwich shop is located directly across the street from hotel. Nice if in need of a sandwich. Also, a 7-Eleven is right next to hotel.
