Family room is practically spacious. Hotel is very near MTR. Hotel a bit old but comfortable. Beddings are above average. Breakfast is the same for the whole number of days we stayed. YMCA stay was very comfortable, a connecting room was assigned to us because we have kids. Airconditioning system is very good. Its location near MTR is very good, so easy and cheap to go anywhere. Staff attends to tourist needs well. Breakfast, however has to have variations.
Shopping Tip : Buy octopus card and take the MTR, that's cheap travel. Just don't forget to refund before you check in the airport.

Good hotel for the budget-conscious traveller who still needs a hotel that is clean and neat.
Shopping Tip : Singapura Mall is a short 10 minute walk, or less, from the hotel. There are lots of bargains in the market stalls outside the shopping centre with lots of bargains just after Christmas.

Restaurant Tip : Kopitchiam is located across the street and a block over from the hotel. Very good place to eat. Also, a subway sandwich shop is located directly across the street from hotel. Nice if in need of a sandwich. Also, a 7-Eleven is right next to hotel.
