this place is by far one of the very good ones which i come across in singapore. i have stayed in many five star hotels in singapore but this is one of the better one.
the service is impeccable. there is definitely not much room for improvement. i really love here as it is close to mount elizabeth hotel and will allow me to go there to visit my relatives more easily.
this place is definitely very good for us to travel in singapore as we also like to go to other places to eat different food.

Great Hotel with Premium Price

This is my third time staying in this hotel, same huge premium rooms however in serious need for a bathroom upgrade, there are still hints of an older building.
Will definitely stay again if visiting mount elizabeth, however price premium needs to be considered

a la carte breakfast absurdly expensive internet use very costly. i had to make special arrangement with manager to get both for per 24-hour day. front desk people friendly and helpful. only one short-order chef doing eggs at breakfast. long line at a time when i wanted to eat and go about my day's business. it would have been easy to have two chefs doing the eggs. i would go back, but they really need to do something about the above costs.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Negotiate a better rate for food and internet, if not on a meals-included rate.

the check in and check out was this time fast, efficient and without any problems.
The bell service was friendly and efficient.
We don' like: This time they had the Penang Hawker Fair which is every year. The restaurant was always full and crowded for lunch and dinner. This was still o.k., however every time we came down from the room or went up to the room we were " welcomed " by the smell of shrimp paste which not everybody likes.
The carpets in rooms and the aisles are already there for many years. In the room we had , it was still o.k., however the aisle carpets and in front of the elevator doors are full of stains, black spots etc. and look like that just recently an armee of soldiers with dirty boots had a military exercise.
I always have problem there with the Internet. Not with the Wi-Fi connection but with the charges. In a hotel like this it should be free of charge; at least for 2 hours a day. S$ 18.00 for 24 hours is very expensive.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We went the first time to the " Gardens at the Bay " clse to Marina Bay Sands.
Although very new there is already a lot of beautiful flowers, trees and other plants to be seen.
I can imagine in another 2 years and everything growing fast, it must be amazing.

Service is reasonable and food was OK. Staff were friendly too. There was no free wireless service (not even in the reception/lounge area). Rooms were decent but dated.
