I have been upgraded when first check in and when extended the stay they let us us stay in the same room due to our daughter condition after operationin near by hospital. Very nice and kind of the staff. I can send fax, emails with great helpand instantly.

restaurants just 2 minutes walking, 5 minutes to department stores

We enjoy it very much. We spent a few days in this hotel and we found it very cozy. The staff are friendly and very helpful as we asked few things regarding location and events that were happening around Singapore.
So yes, we would definitely recommend this hotel to those who enjoy shopping or even to those who just visit Singapore for fun.

Good location for medication purpose at Mount Elizabeth hospital, 5 minutes walking distance to the hospital and paragon medical center, decent breakfast, near orchard road, paragon, takashimaya and Ion Orchard. Reasonable price.

stayed here recently for a couple of nights, was woken up 3 times in a row at 7am because of corridor traffic, however was really ticked off one time when it was the cleaner talking too loud. hotel quality is so-so, you get for what you pay, but if your looking for a quality stay you may want to consider paying a bit more for more comfort. internet was also pretty expensive. $18 for 24 hours. would be more worth it to purchase a prepaid mobile broadband modem + sim pack if your staying a couple of days.

A 4 star hotel with a great service
I noticed that York Hotel's porter has a great service.

I recommend York Hotel because its location just behind the ME Singapore, near Lucky Plaza so every store in orchard is whithin walking distance.
