good service and comfortable and fairy price when you want to go to any are in singapore not so difficult because of near MRT and hotel call for taxi.
Shopping Tip:
near may department store but orchard area quite expensive

i really liked the hotel, the location was very close to shopping malls and the stuff were great.
1 problem was that they were running out of non smoking rooms so they gave me a room in a smoking floor

Nice Hotel
Nice hotel to visit....the hotel is very clean, hospitality employees, the hatel located in the best area, i can get to archard road easlly,

the hotel is very clean, hospitality employees that always welcoming the guests, the hotel is located at the best area. guite close to mrt station, shooping center, and very close to mount elisabeth hospitalwe, so can go anywhere easily, besides the breakfast is guite ok and nice, and i felt very comfortable stayed in york hotel beacuse is also non smoking hotel....
so my next trip to singapore, i will stay in york hotel.

one of the best hotel located right at the center of Orchard Road... very convenient to all major shopping area.
definitely a good hotel for short trip like 2 to 3 days. highly recommended to frequent flyer.
best for its location where you are able to travel to most shopping center with ease. easy place to find foods. also great location for medical plan as it is near to some of the well known medical group in Singapore.
Just too many good things to share here but I will not elaborate more. It is up to you to decide but I am highly recommend it to all of you who need great location, spacious room, great facilities and friendly staff.

hotel is located in a quiet residential area behind orchard road - thus, it's only walking distance to the shopping area and the nearest mrt station
rooms were very nice and especially spacious. my family of 4 adults and one small kid (aged 1) throughly enjoyed it
Shopping Tip:
Orchard is about 7 minutes walk down the road

not so happy and a bit regret staying at York
hospitality service, modern facilities

No smile, a bit rude attitude in serving us (especially staff at reception). I thing York cannot manage guess in big amount, they loose their standard, even in replacement of amenities (in room) it should be a small thing, but lack of it, makes big different in image. I am not recommend to stay there.. plus..difficult to get taxi.
