everything is fair but not superior.
good for everybody, not for the richer traveler.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Formula 1 racing in the night light is only at Singapore.

overalll the hotel was nice and clean.. thats the main thing i'm looking for finding a place to live... my opinion the tax from the hotel because of the F1 is ridiculous (because the F1 is ended a day before i purchase this hotel, but we still get charges for the F1 rate)...

walking distance to the orchard roads...

Good hotel and services, big room

I stay for an interesting one night stay at this hotel. generraly the service is good, information gives properly. I came to singapore to see Formula one in marina bay Sands Area. Not so long distance from York Hotel to get there. we can use MRT near the hotel. for a few minute we can go to the F1 area easyly

the hotel is not bad although the mrt is a few minute work from it.the checking time is not so great have to wait untill 2pm then can check in not like other hotel can check in early if their room is available.service of the front desk not so friendly.the charge of the hotel too expensive.althought thats a charge for all hotel in singapore but still too expensive to stay in york hotel.

one of my favorite hotel in singapore. very close to orchard road, yet the price is very reasonable. spacious room and very clean room. the staff was very helpful and polite. very easy to find food. and its also very near Mount Elizabeth hospital, paragon shopping center and lucky plaza in orchard road.

We booked a deluxe room but upon checkin they said there were full capacity so they upgraded us to the poolside cabana. I don't know how much of an upgrade it was because the poolside cabana seemed a bit old, although it was a 2 floor duplex. You have to use a keycard from the main desk in order to get into the gym. they neglected to tell us this once we checked in, instead we had to find out when we wanted to use the gym

Nice old hotel
The security, both in the lobby and lift were excellent, make you feel safe

The room was quite old but very clean, it's hard to find taxi but the bellman was very helpful. overall it was a nice stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
it's easier to just walk towards orchard road and wait for taxi there rather than waiting for taxi outside the hotel
