Great location but small rooms

As a business traveler, i find the hotel to be very good in terms of space in the room, and its location near Orchard Road. There were two cons about this hotel nevertheless, long and slow check-in/check-out line, and the noise of the guests at late hours. During this particular stay, it seems there were many family vacationers with kids. in the end, i would recommend this hotel for busies traveler only if major 5-stars hotels are tough to book or rates are too high.

all the intentions are there but it is in need of some serious tlc. the bathrooms (i moved 3 times so got to see a few!) were tired with mold around the bath and the last one smelt so bad when i moved in that i had to call them to come up and clean it again. the rooms were ok - bit depressing. the beds were comfy enough. the staff though in the restaurant were delightful and very efficient. the food was actually quite good as well. the only major gripe was that there was a pack of teenagers on some sort of school trip and they did a great job of running around the corridors until 2am - hence the reason why i moved one of the times. the other time was i smelt cigarette smoke coming through the vent. the price was very reasonable so i suppose you get what you pay for! the location was amazing. if they upgraded the rooms a bit i would stay there again.

Came over for a business, and wanted to be bear Orchard Road. The hotel is in a great location because I can just walk a few hundred meters down to Orchard Road and do my shopping/eating.
The lobby looks like it has had a facelift so it's quite nice to return to.

it is situated close to orchard road and very convenient for shopping. it is also a good meeting point. we like the rooms, they are clean and quite spacious. the hotel looks better than elizabeth hotel where we stayed last time. we took the extra package for breakfast and use of wifi. we feel that hotels should provide free wifi for guests, if not in room then at lobby area. the hotel rate was high during the period we stayed.

The non-rennovated building was not really nice, very standard. So we felt that it is overpriced. Rennovated rooms were very nice. It is walkable to Orchard, but a little bit far and you have to climb a hill.
