centrally located for business and shopping along orchard road. this must be a newer hotel as the elevators are frequent and fast, smooth and quiet.
our superior room was a basic business hotel room, but it felt relatively spacious. there were two comfortable chairs, desk and chair, enough room for two medium sized suitcases to be laid out, and plenty of room to walk around in without bumping into each other. the sheets and duvet were crisp and clean.
ventilation was good, no musty smell. the thermostat was perhaps not functional (as in most hotels), but you can turn off the a/c if it gets too cold--a major plus in my book!
it's a slight jog uphill, but nothing severe.
Hotel Feature Tip:
just up the street from mount elizabeth hospital, if you're in town for medical appointments.

Ok price, good service, very noisy

Stayed for 3 nights, first two were good, but on the last night, a lot of very young guests moved into the hotel and were very loud, running up and down the hallways. The hotel said they called security to quell things, but it had no effect. Eventually I insisted on a room change around midnight. The hotel did not offer to change the room and did not apologize for not being able to control the other guests.
Definitely not a good place to stay if you have a business schedule. Ok for families.
