i stayed over the weekend, generally i found the hotel to be clean and respectible,it was a quite hotel with a lot of character. the hotel is based in a reasonable area, the night life outside goes all night with gogo bars down the street and it is in close proximity to shopping and the small markets on second street. the only things we found not up to standard, was the bathroom gave a bad odour coming out of the floor waste, i had to spray water on to the floor to stop the smell and the dvd player didn't work. but other than that it was good.

This hotel is rip off in several ways

This Hotel is a business hotel which is fine however when the cost of a Beer is $12 singapore dollars and $7.50 for a can of soda this is just RIDICULOUS in addition to that as a business hotel it should provide Internet in all rooms FREE as the cost of the room is several hundred dollars but instead they charge almost $80 just to check you email which is ridiculous in this day and age of having to have Internet in order to conduct business and this is just a BLANTANT attempt to fleece customers.
Overall the hotel is good but these thing left a VERY BAD taste with out business party and we left talking more about how we were ripped off than the attractions of Singapore.
Advice to hotel
Include Internet in all rooms for FREE this is normal all over the world and it is no longer acceptable to charge ridiculous money for a necessary service.
2.) No excuse to charge $7.50 for a soda when the cost for it in a local store is $1
We would not return to this hotel

for only 2 nght staying there, we feel very happy. The hotel staff very helpfull for lend us an umbrella just before we going out on rainy afternoon.
The room is also nice, quiet in classic room and clean
We will stay here again in some next plan in Singapore

We have a nice holiday during our stay. The only hotel that we have stayed for the last 5 years we have come to Singapore. So far we find that this is the best place to stay for several reasons such as the location, cleanliness, and reasonable price considering its Orcahrd location. We will definitely come back to stay at this place whenever we go back to Singapore. To management please keep up the good work. The major attractions points such as takashimaya, ion, paragon and ver close to orchard mrt.
