I'm looking for this hotel.
But I could not find.
In reception,they could speak Japanese.
Breakfast was worst.
Because it prefer toast and coffee bringing room myself.

Affordable room in a central location

I had mixed expectations to say the least after I had read various more or less negative reviews about this hotel and I admit that the area was a little too flashy and loud for me arriving on a Saturday evening straight from a quiet templestay. However, I didn't have any of the negative experiences previous reviewers voiced.
Granted, the hotel was hard to find (in fact, I had a Korean lady helping me find it asking for the way and walking me there until we could see it), the rooms aren't too big and it's not a 5-star place, but it doesn't claim to be either.
When I was there, the internet worked well throughout and it was surprisingly quiet in my room as the hotel is in a little side street just off the crazy busy and flashy streets around the corner. I think I met three different staff at reception and none of them spoke English (I heard them speak Japanese though which seemed fine), however, each of them tried to help me whenever necessary and wherever possible: My first room smelled of cigarettes when I entered it, so I asked to change it which was not a problem at all. I asked (with hand and feet) for a recommendation for food and got a recommendation I really liked. When I walked out the hotel it was drizzling a little, so the lady from the reception actually came running after me with an umbrella from the hotel which she passed me for my way. There were a few more examples like this during my stay, so all in all this wasn't a bad place and definitely not an unfriendly or unwelcoming one. It's simply not a new hotel though.
