The hotel features a small caf� and restaurant, swimming pool, fitness centre and even organizes weddings and other events. The hotel has a very homely feel to it due to its small size in comparison to other major hotel chains in the area. Travelers and families as well as business types looking for a reasonable priced, clean and perfectly located Hotel will not be disappointed.

Generally the Sangnam International House Hotel did not meet my requirements. Firstly it was very far from the city center and the seaside. Secondly the hotel room had not been properly cleaned. Thirdly the hotel does not offer breakfast at all during the weekends. Finally the staff performance was poor as even the receptionist's english language skills were below the minimum standard level.

Go either way - you get food, food, food! Convenience stores are everywhere and only about 15 mins max to the the nearest subway stations. It is almost next to the PNU and the area is pleasant and taxi drivers know the place well. The TV channels are aplenty for dull evenings, and laundry is available for us to do washing.
Positively, it would be great if the aircon "season" is left on till later into autumn, and if there is a dryer. But in the note of a greener planet and less electricity consumption, I have no complaints. I enjoyed my stay at the Sangnam.
Sangnam is really a no frills hotel. However, accomodation is not spartan, you have decent beds, fridge, cable TV with both English and Korean, free room internet connection, washing machine and most importantly a great location. As mentioned, go either left or right, you have convenience shops and tiny little restaurants - and it is cheap and good! Go slightly further you will find a couple of designer coffee shops and fancy restaurants. The subway stations are within a 15 minute walk.
Hotel Feature Tip : Go in autumn when it is cooler. AC is turned off due to cooler weather. Get a hotel name card if you don't speak Korean.
