My Room Was Downgraded.

We reserved a Deluxe Twin Room for both 30/03/2013 and 05/04/2013. However, when we checked in, the hotel staff told us we only reserved a Standard Double Room and if we wanted to “upgrade” it to Deluxe Twin we needed to pay an extra charge. We needed to argue and requested them to refer the problem before we could get the Deluxe Twin Room successfully.

Quiet and relaxing room in Changwon-si

i'm happy that i didn't hesitate to stay in solium despite the list of partner hotels provided by the conference organizers. solium has spacious rooms and i like overall the feel in the hotel. the room was well cleaned everyday. compared to the other similar range hotels i've seen, solium definitely was newer, larger and cleaner. the staff were also very nice even though only one or two guys were able to speak good english, nonetheless, everyone tries to help or listen to you (if you also talk politely to them) the best way they can. breakfast was buffet and could be traditional zen type of breakfast common in the region - soup, anchovies, very nice long-grained rice, nori sheets, kimchi, scrambled eggs, bread, ham, cereal, milk, coffee, tea and orange juice. don't expect lavish options as i've observed that people from this region eat quite fast in the morning. overall, i had a very good experience in solium and would recommend this to other travelers. you also get free 2 bottled water everyday and coffee or tea in your room. i also like the quality toiletries provided (body wash, shampoo. toothbrush and toothpaste, razor, body milk, body lotion). they also refill the bath salt in case you use the bath tub once in a while.
they also have a small business center where you can check the internet and print important documents. there was a 24x7 convenient store, laundry shop and restaurants at the ground floor. to take the bus limousine to the airport, just go to hotel international which is just next door.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the best way to see attractions in the changwon (and also in busan) is to take the city tour bus which runs on a different theme everyday, e.g., cultural, ecotour, etc., and is at a very affordable rate of 10,000 krw or less than $10 for the whole day. also, if you'll walk 2 blocks away from the main road, there are many interesting side streets with plenty of shops, restaurants, coffee shops to see and try.

日本の歌謡曲がBGMで流れ、セミダブルでアンティック、広々とした部屋は落ち着きがあり、この価格で宿泊できるとは夢のようです。オンドルなので冬でも快適でしょう。フロントもカタコトで日本語ができて親切でした。テレビはＮＨＫが視聴できます。ミネラル水が２本サービスで冷蔵庫に入っています。雑居ビルなので、1Fにはコンビニや焼肉屋も入っていて（豚の文字がある店は安いです）、またホテルの周りには飲食店が無数にあり、どこも廉価で飲食には苦労しません。機会があればまた利用したいです。ホテルの朝食（７～９時）はご飯もあって有り難いですが、日本と違って補充がほとんどなく、早い者勝ちなのは残念です。毎日ご飯とノリとキムチだけでした。

ビジネスで使うには便利でよさそうです。家族旅行で使う場合も景色を気にせず便利さと価格を考えるとほどほどのところだと思います。無料の朝食があったようですが、時間の関係でそこまで確認できませんでした。
Restaurant Tip:
昌原市の市庁の池の北側に自家焙煎をするカフェやパンのおいしいカフェやギャラリーカフェの並ぶカフェ通りがあり、平日昼間は主婦で大賑わいだそうです。

창원 솔리움 비지니스 호텔은 조식이 맛있었구요. 또한 방도 깨끗하고, 춥다고 하니 이불을 하나 더 가져다 주는 섬세함도 있었습니다.
또한 숙박시 조용하여 잠을 자는데 지장이 없었습니다.
Restaurant Tip:
아구찜이 유명한 초가집(중앙동)이라는 집도 있었구요.
근처에 이마트 롯데마트 등 대형 슈퍼도 있음.
