The owner Mr. & Mrs. Park provided very helpful and gracious service throughout our stay .
We hire a car from AVIS and the car parking is in front of the house .
With the car , go to Busan city about 45 min.

Overall fine but with a bit of disappointment

Overall stay was good! The owner of the pension Mr and Mrs Park were very helpful and friendly. She tried her best to ensure that we have a great stay which we did. She also did sit down with us and helped us to plan our trip, conveyed to us the bus schedule and etc. she also recommended some good food to us. We had a good cycling adventure to the bomun lake area and it was really fantastic. bicycle was provided by the pension, though under maintained but its still usable. However, there were just 2 drawbacks in our trip. First, the room was not as well maintained/clean as described in Agoda. We found condom packaging and a phone under the bed. We somehow moved the bed as we were trying to catch a jumping frog which appeared from nowhere in the room!!! The toilet has some bad smell. Secondly, we have to walk for around 10 minutes to the nearest bus station which is really tiring after a day out. Initially we thought it would be okay, but being through it, I think people without own transport whom will be choosing this pension would really need to reconsider.

Great value for money - room was clean, spacious enough, with kitchen. Very quite - have not heard our neighbors at all.
The only minus would be location as buses do not follow the timetable.

We were very satisfied with the great spacious rooms and romantic ambience! The customer service provided by Mr and Mrs Park were beyond our expectations! Upon arrival, we were given travel directions to all the tourist attractions and offered numerous car rides to the nearest bus stop for convenience.

The owners of Bellus Rose are friendly, helpful hosts. They picked it's up from the bus station to drive us to the resort when we first arrived. Though the location is inconvenient if you don't have a car, the hospitality makes up for it. If you don't have a car and plan on doing a lot of site seeing, however, i wouldn't recommend it. Rooms are big and clean. They all have a potato or balcony.

Lovely hotel and service with a great smile
It is more like those farmstay (minus the farm) in Taiwan.

The hotel is somewhat like a countryside style type of farmstay (minus the farm). It is more like a weekend outing place for korean families. Basic provision of accommodation with no lack in space, landlord is a extremely friendly lady who can speaks english. She will pick you up from the bus-stop at the main street to the hotel which is probably like 1km away from the bus stop. She will also send you to the bus stop if you are going out and you can ask the 7-11 convenience store at the bus stop area to give her a call if you do not use your country line service and she will pick you up in minutes to go back hotel.
The place is near several sightseeing places which is probably few minutes of bus drive away. If you walk it is like 3-4kms away.
The lady will also offer to make breakfast at 10,000w with cereal, milk, toast, eggs, coffee, orange juice, fruits and yogurt.
The hotel is generally surrounded by other similar style Pension thou i rarely see other people around.
At the main road where the bus stop is, there are also several restaurants where you can have your meal. Travel to and fro to other sightseeing places are easy with the available buses at the bus stop.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I have heard Gyeongju from my Korean teacher when i ask him of my trip and he recommended to make a trip to this place. It was a last minute insertion to this city and my only regret was not planning enough time to stay in this beautiful place and visit all the beautiful sights.

we checked in at night after walk around downtown. took taxi to hotel. taxi driver can't find the place, lucky called the hotel owner. friendly hotel woner and she gave us gyeonju map and gave us some useful information for next day trip. big room and complete with kitchen. not really like the room design coz too flowerish and femenine. the nearest restaurant and convenient shop about 15 to 20 min walk. hotel breakfast extra charge 10,000won per person. free wifi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try ask hotel owner send you go out to the nearest bus stop. Take bus 700 to downtown and bulguksa temple.

Lovely Pension and great service

The owners of this Pension are a nice couple. When we check-in, the wife provided us map with detailed driving route and recommended us sight seeing spots.
The room was very comfortable, warm, spacious and clean with a small balcony. Bed is soft and comfy too.
Highly recommend this Pension for couple or if you will hire a car to drive around the city.

This is a great place to stay, especially if you have a car. Mrs. Kim sat down with us to show us where to go and gave good suggestions of places to eat. The rooms are large and cozy. We booked three rooms for 6 adults and 4 kids, but we were all able to sit and chat together in one room in the evenings. The rooms also had kitchenettes so we could fix snacks and hot drinks, make ice for cold drinks, and have breakfast in our room. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Gyeongju.

bellus rose was a great place to stay. i guess we kind of picked it because of its high ratings on trip advisor and because the website (which in itself is a little crazy) made the rooms look a little bonkers on the colour-front. anyway, our room wasn't as extreme as we'd hoped, but was incredibly comfortable, had a big tv and great wi-fi. our hosts were super-friendly and warm and had comprehensive advice for things to do around town. we had a rental car, so that made things pretty easy. getting around by pt may be a pain as the pension is apparently a bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop. breakfast was nothing fancy, but very comprehensive, which we appreciated - toast, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, coffee, etc. really can't stress enough how lovely mrs park is, immediately making us feel at home and giving us great advice as to how to get the most out gyeongju's many attractions. fwiw mt namsan was my favourite. a must if you like walking/hiking through natural beauty.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Best bet if you have wheels. Don't be afraid to drive in Korea - it's easy once you get the feel of the roads.
