Sometimes they run out of western breakfast
I loved the rooms with a view overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Jeju. The hotel is in between Jeju city and Sunset Point. It is convenient to see Sunset Point and a famous cave nearby. It is great for relaxing and it was quiet. Nice coffee shops nearby. (The hotel coffee was not good) However, it is far from night life--if that's what you crave.
It is also far from Seowipo area on the other side of the island--about an hour and half away--which has many tourists sights. We managed to use public transport to get around, but it is a ways.
Unfortunately, you probably won't get an ocean view if you book the standard room on agoda. Then you will be asked to pay 20,000 krw per night for ocean view room. Without the view, it is an OK hotel. One morning there was no western breakfast and one definately needs a Korean phrase book to communicate.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are more things to see on the other side of the island near Seogwipo and Jungmun beach (SCentral and West side of island). We could swim at Jungmun, but not at Hamdeok (where the hotel is on the NE side of island) in beginning of Oct.

The location is about 25 minutes (by local bus transportation)from Jeju City. The staff at the reception hardly speak english. Very difficult communication. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We had a nice view from the room looking at the beautiful beach. The location is within twenty five minutes drive from Jeju City. In order to visit the city, one has to take a taxi or use the local bus (runs every 20 minutes). The main limitation of the hotel is that the staff at the reception hardly speak english. I would define the service as a moderate one.

Big rooms very clean, facing the ocean. Food is great too. They hardly speak English at the hotel, and in Jeju in general: you better make the taxi driver read the map twice before he drops you somewhere you never asked for. And when asking the hotel staff, be patient: they are really nice but the communication is difficult. Very nice hotel. However, the location is not that good unless you hire a taxi driver service for the day (English speaking -ask for Mr Lee, very honest and friendly).
