Easily reached from the airport.. cab drivers know the hotel well. Internet access always available.. though they only have one pc to use.

They only have heater for the A/C. It was too hot in the room. Front desk needs to be more friendly. Restaurant always closed!

You expect good service for this kind of hotel but it turned out bad. The front desk guy was not friendly and didn't understood what we requested for. It was warm in the room because of the heater, so we had to request for electric fans. The restaurant was always closed and looked a bit eerie on the 10th floor. Internet connection was ok, though there's only one pc to use. Good thing only our group was using it most of the time. The area is not lively and you would often wonder where are the people.. stores and restaurants practically have no business at all. You probably would want to book at a different hotel if you want more people around.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The area is near shopping for hiking gears so you won't have a problem with clothes if you're going to hike in Mt. Halla. There isn't much western restaurant around.. just Dunkin Donuts and Pizza Hut and some seafood restaurants which doesn't have much customers at all.

Location of Palace quite good with ocean view, concert park, E-Mart, excellent shopping, restaurants all within steps. Organized tours leave from right outside the hotel making seeing the island all the easier.

The room was smallish and rather warm. We could not actually control the temperature. There was a hot water kettle but no coffee, tea or cups for that matter.

Overall the stay at the Palace was acceptable. It is close to the airport, excellent shopping choices to include an E-Mart down the street and many dining options to include McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Duncan Donuts steps away. The view of the ocean is magnificent and the concert hall across the street provided evening entertainment nightly and the casino was right down the street. While there was no beach nearby a walk along the seawall was an evening treat. The small hotel room to include the bathroom was a little uncomfortable and it did get a bit warm at times as it was August. Organized tours left from just outside the hotel making it very convenient to seeing the many sights of the island. Location is definitely the strong point of this hotel.
