Nice hotel..too expensive
Nice view of the water if you get an ocean view room, but you will pay for it

nothing was provided for free in this room. the bars and restaurants in the hotel are good but too expensive ( won per person for dinner). also, even though the view is nice, it's just an water ocean view with the paved road as the 'beach'. plus you have to take a cab if you want to go anywhere because except for the emart (korean version of walmart), there isn't any good place to eat or hang out within walking distance. you're better off staying on the south side of the island or in the downtown part of jeju city.
Nightlife Tip:
Old Downtown Jeju City is the only place where things are happening at night

Good Location, Big Hotels, Decent Room Service

It was almost perfect. The hotels are big. The rooms have great views, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms were quite spacious. There are little things that are off though. Our Rooms only had 2 small towels, the mini bar had everything for sale from toothbrushes, to underwear, to tampons. It seemed like a luxury hotel trying to nickle and dime you for everything.
The saunas and pools are not included and you have to pay an extra charge for admission ( won a person).
The breakfast room service was good, a tad pricey at 30,000 a person but it was great to have it brought to the room rather than going downstairs to the restaurant.
Overall, it impressed my date and that's all that matters.

great view but no shampoo

We arrived in a rental car on a freezing cold day. I handed my car keys to the attendant only to be told the hotel was very busy so there was no valet parking available. I left my wife and our luggage and parked our car in a card park building with very confusing signage consequently it took me some time to park and by the time I returned to my wife found that she had carried our luggage inside because there was not porter service either.
After a poor start, things improved at reception, where the staff were friendly, efficient and professional and we were checked in very quickly.
Our room, although small, had a magnificent sea view and was clean albeit tired with some power points and light fittings not working but these were only minor irritations. The point that was surprising was that this hotel does not supply free shampoo for guests. I was not able to ascertain why not?

The rooms are very nice. They are clean, spacious, and comfortable. This was what I was looking for so it was the most important. The hotel itself is a little weird. Very empty and also a lot of odd empty spaces like there used to be more but now there isn't. Perhaps it used to be more popular but now its going downhill?

The Casino in the hotel is practically empty. View is average. Rooms is not bad as well. Hotel staff can speak good mandarin so its good for tourist who cant speaks korean.

Close to Jeju city and airport
There is a big e-Mart supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance.

1) The hotel location is quite close to the airport (10 minutes by taxi).
2) The beds and room size are great for couples or family with one kid, but not for family with two young kids.
3) There is an e-mart supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance. We bought bread and instant noodles there for our breakfast.
4) It takes 30 minutes by taxi from the hotel to Halla Mountain and 50 minutes to Seongsan Ilchulbong. The taxi rate (converted to time base) is about 0.8K Won per minute, so 30 minutes will cost you around 24K Won. Halla Mountain and Seongsan Ilchulbong are two must-go in Jeju.
5) Tell the hotel staff where you would like to go (in English) and ask him/her to help you get a taxi. Usually you can get one within 1 minute. Almost all taxi drivers do not speak English.
6) There is a street nearby the hotel (3 minutes by taxi) with 5 or 6 restaurants that serve famous grilled black pork. It's a must-try in Jeju.
