1. A little stuffy - Central air-conditioning switched off during late fall/winter
The location was a huge bonus, as it was 5 minutes walk from Myeongdong, and about 3 minutes to the Airport bus stop. The room and bathroom were clean, if a bit musty smelling. During the late fall/winter season, the airconditioning is switched off, so it can get a little stuffy. Opening the (small) window helps, but if you're a light sleeper get a room that doesn't face the street as there is a fair amount of noise from traffic. It didnt bother me, but it might bother some. Staff could also have been a little more friendly. Overall, I would go back, because it's convenient and it serves my basic accomodation needs (cleanliness and safety being primary).

The hotel is a bit old thought renovated
Good location, just 5 mins walk to meungdong & room rate is very reasonable. We lived in 7th floor and the view is good. We can see namsan tower. Moreover, all drinks in the fridge is free. However, the hotel is old and seems that there is a night club in lower floor.

- Friendly and helpful staff
- Free Internet access with virus scanning s/w installed unlike the KTO terminals
- No kitchenette
- No wifi
The location of this hotel is great. It is close to Myeong-dong, Namdaemun Market, Namsan Park, and Chungmuro Station, which is a transfer station. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke/understood English above average. I would stay in this hotel again. I tried to book it again when I decided to extend my stay and ended up in Gangnam, which is really inconvenient. Just down the street from Sejong Hotel, which is an airport express bus stop (#6015). Very good hotel for the price.
Shopping Tip : Korea shopping is overrated. High quality/brand name good are expensive and likely cheaper in the US. Cheap good are poorly made.
