The service of the hotel very good and helpful,most of the staff can communicate in English. Location is great . hotel have provide free shuttle service to myngdong and etc... and airport shuttle service with reasonable price. In conclusion, this is highly recommend hotel.

Great location with best staff service

Near subway station and near tourist place. As we are 4 of us, we take taxi to visit Seoul. Hotel staff can speak very good English and hotel also got shuttle bus to visit some famous tourist I.e. Myeodong.

Nice hotel but poor location

i had stayed in kukdo hotel on the 1st few days of my trip, moved on to jeju island and then back to kukdo for the last night's stay in korea before returning home. kukdo hotel is one of the stops for the direct bus from the airport,which is right in front of the hotel. the hotel is not conveniently located near eating place or shopping areas. fair bit of walking distance is required. the service staff at the counter are able to converse in english proficiently. the room was clean and comfortable. the sink was located out from the bathroom. only 2 bottles of complimentary mineral water were provided on your 1st day of stay and not for the subsequent days of your stay. overall, still pleased with my stay at kukdo hotel.

Worth the price
The room is nice and neat

There is an airport bus that can reach the hotel with not much hassel. The ticket is only 10K Won per pax which I think is very resonable, considering you get off in front of the hotel.
The hotel offer free wifi even in the room, but at times, the connection is rather weak. But since it is free, so, no complaint.

Location is very near to Seoul tourist spot i.e. Myeongdong only one station. In fact, hotel also have shuttle bus to certain tourist place. 5 minutes walking distance got a very authentic Korea food, can ask staff in charge at lobby.
Hotel is clean and comfortable. Good security as only with hotel access card can use the lift. The only disadvantage is TV program all in Korean language which hotel should consider most of the customer are foreign tourist should have certain channel with Chinese program.

Stayed 3 nights in Sep '12.
Pros:
1. Hotel is strategically located. A block away from the subway station. Bus shuttle (6001 and 6015) from-to airport stops right in front of hotel entrance.
2. Multiple convenience store within walking distance. a CVS 4 u (7-11 equivalent) is located right beside the hotel. another larger homemart is located a block away.
3. Rooms are relatively large, and comfortable. Hotel ambience is also very welcoming.
4. Hotel comes with free wi-fi.
Cons:
1. Hotel staff attitude is severely lacking for a 4 star hotel. An example, a staff was at the door, but did not come and help unload luggage from the bus when I arrived. Another example, staff did not offer to bring up luggage to the room after check in. Mind you we had we had our arms full (fussing baby, backpacks etc).
2. Communication was also an issue, as the staff was not able to converse in English. Expected better
3. The nearest station does not have an escalator. If you want to use the elevator, you need to walk 2 blocks down.

Great hotel with good location

It's a great hotel to stay in. I came with four friends and they gave us side by side rooms which is very convenient for us. We stayed at 16th floor, not much of a view but the room amenities are more than enough. Huge beds, nice bathroom. I love the way they have the sink outside the bathroom (save a lot of time for us to wait and get ready). Good location, just 10 minutes walking distance to Myeongdong. Got a local convenience store right next to the hotel.
