We just spent the last day there because the Korean house was overbooked. The Kukdo hotel is very close metro line 3 and 4 so you can just go to everywhere. Rooms are clean but not very big.

Great Location but bad view outside

It has very nice service. Kind managers and nice room service.
Also very near from the tube station so easy to reach other areas of SeouL.
However, toilet and shower area is quite small.
Not many facilities in the hotel.
Shopping Tip:
You can walk to Myeongdong. Takes about 10 mins

Our suite was very spacious.
The room was very clean and I conveniently located.

Only the rules of the hotel is not flexible. We, 3 of us have a suite with 2 single beds and I asked for 1 extra bed but they refused to do it. Even though there was plenty of space in the room and we offered to pay extra, yet they said they cannot do it.

We requested a baby cot throu internet booking but was told our kid is too big for it. As we checked -in, they said our kid is fine to use their baby cot but they are fully booked already. Very confusing!
Except the limited conceirge services and distanced reception services, everything else are satisfying.

Nice hotel with good service

I had stayed in this hotel for the 1st few days of my trip, went over to Jeju island and back to Kukdo hotel for the last night's stay in Korea before returning home. The hotel is located near one of the exits of Euljiro 4-Ga station but a fair bit of walking distance is required to eating places and shopping which may be of slight inconvenience. Overall, still pleased with the stay at Kukdo hotel.

Hotel that met expectations

Our 7-day stay at Hotel Kukdo was extremely comfortable. All our needs were met: price, service, quality, room design, personal requests, free-WiFi, and most importantly, the location. Not only was the min-mart, the airport shuttle stop, and the subway entrance are practically right at the door, but the subway station was centralize for all the subway line transfers. The only thing I felt could really use some improvement was the breakfast buffet. There's certainly a lot of potential, but the buffet needs to be more frequently replenished so the late-riser customers like myself won't feel like we are getting only the leftovers towards the end even though we paid a moderate price for it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There's actually a free scheduled hotel shuttle that takes you to nearby Dongdaemun and Myeong-Dong if you reserve ahead.
