Really great stay!! LEE the owner/manger is very helpful with any of your needs. Close to subway, nightlife and shopping!! Tucked away a few blocks away from the action but in a nice location.

Absolutely loved it, if you're into meeting new people, then this is the place. Met an amazing group of people at the hotel. The staff were wonderful, Bunk beds were soft, plenty of bathrooms to go around and always always clean. They even provide towels, soaps & Shampoos, Free breakfast and you can cook up whatever you want. Plus the Staff is so good. Always helpful. I took the 2nd floor bunk bed and the bed was nice firm and soft. But the best part is its in Hongdae where the night life is young and wild, best clubs around and the music and street dancing scene is available. So I absolutely loved this hostel. The subway stop is about 12 mins away on foot but the good thing is the AREX from the airport directly stops here.

Its a cozy hostel, book 1 twin room and 1 family room, we are group of 5 people. The owner, Lee is friendly and he let us to do early checkin and late checkout. The ambiance is good, help us recovering after all day trip and shopping. It is near hongik subway, about 10 minutes walk, it was not hard to find if you follow the direction they gave to you correctly. Also convenient if you wanted to stay in a long time since they provide washing machine and detergent.

It is near hongik subway, bout 10 minutes walk, it was not hard to find if you follow the direction they gave to you correctly. "Perfect"
Good Value, Good Place and Safe

“Perfect”I spent 5 days (2-6 April 2013) in Birdnest Hostel Hongdae and I enjoyed it a lot. I love the single room, since I am a Moslem and traveling on my own, I prefer to take this room for privacy reason. The room is SUPER fine for me. Is in the 2nd floor which is awesome and it has a small table, a table lamp, a mirror, a clock, AC, and a bed with a clean bedcover. Excellent!! Free breakfast is available (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bread with jam, egg) and all is self service. Free laundry and you can iron your clothe as well.
Great thing about this place is the location. Just about 10 minutes walk away from Hongik university subway station. You will find the location easily if you follow the given directions. If you are a tea or a coffee drinker, there is a place call “Deep Coffee” a small coffee shop , and the Green Latte is very amazing. Is a MUST to try!! If you need something to munch, you can reach 7-Eleven or GS25 (24-hours Mini Mart) which is very easy to find.
The owner, Mr Lee is a nice, friendly and helpful person (^^,)V he allowed me to use the phone to contact my friend in Korea. He also willing to drop me at Hongik university subway station very early in the morning, to catch my flight (it was raining and I am very appreciated, thanks in a million Mr Lee) He’s a very open person, easily to mingle and welcoming all the guests by having warm conversation with them. Keep it Up Mr Lee.
Over all, I enjoyed my stay here. I was honestly sad to leave and will definitely go back if I am ever in Korea again. "Please keep that single room for me Mr Lee \(^ ,^)/ TC always"

all the things were good except for the bathroom hot water which kept changing, sometimes hot, sometime cold.
