Walking distance to everywhere

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by CATS, knowing it was a 'love' hotel (Koreans keep it discreet) we expected the typical tiny room with limited amenities, instead we opened our door to an entry foyer, living area (with couch and computer), king bed and huge spa. The hotel is a little seedy, with hourly rooms on the ground floor and adult entertainment on most channels but if you can laugh that off you get free ice-cream, bottled water, mini bar, breakfast and snacks!
The staff have limited English but enough to get you through and the place is a little dirty around the edges but for the price = bargain. (especially so close to Insadong)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
TIP: take the bus to Fraser Suites and walk north from there, it's down a small alley after the underpass.

Lots of free food

we really appreciated the free breakfast, beverages and ice cream. free water turned out to be hard to come buy, so having free bottled water provided by the hotel was huge blessing. we chose the hotel because of its proximity to insadong street - a great place for english-speaking visitors to experience korean culture, food and merchandise. it is also within walking distance of the beautiful gyeongbokgung and changdeokgung palaces. the only downsides were that it was relatively difficult to locate from the metro and breakfast for the two days we stayed consisted of ramen noodles and cheese cake. very tasty, but not the most nutritious.

We stayed here for 4 nights during the summer. The hotel is in a really good location. The rooms were a good size and the air conditioning was good. I'd definitely reccommmend this place!
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is free coffee and ice-cream in the lobby all day!

location is just next to subway no.5 exit5. walk into small soi and it's located on left side. it named as hotel, but it's motel. however, it doesn't matter with reasonable price. free cup noodle, drinks, cake and ice-cream.

Nice boutique hotel with good location

A small boutique hotel located in Jongno and within just a minute walk to the subway station. Nice docor and clean room with flat TV & desk top computer in the room. Reasonable room rate in the city & what you paid for is better off than those 3-4 stars hotel. Nearby are many restaurants & eateries open till late that you don't need to worry about starving in the middle of the night. Of course this is considered to be a love hotel in Seoul but who cares if you pay less than 3-4 stars hotel but get the same convenience & comparable amenities. Highly recommended.

Staffs are very helpful. the hotel room is not very big but nice. If you are not smoke better request a non smoking floor. Hotel is near subway and other tourist area.
Restaurant Tip:
There are many good restaurants near the hotel. Korean BBQ at the opposite corner is the best.

this hotel is located just 2 mins walk from the metro station , very convenient.
the free 'breakfast' provided is only some snack i.e. sandwiches, cheese cake, icecream etc ..
not really a breakfast as you cannot eat cheese cake in the morning as breakfast....
room is small, once our luggages are opened we have no place to walk anymore..
there is free wifi and one desktop in the room.
