It was a pleasant experience for us. The room was cleaned everyday during our 4-night stay and new towels were provided everyday. The room is spacious with high ceiling. We love the big fridge and also the washing machine. It made our life easier since we travel light with lesser clothes. The instructions manual in English are provided on the TV desk. Some people didn't realise it but we thought it was a good move.
The hotel is strategically located between Myeong-Dong and Dongdaemun. You can practically walk to Dongdaemun and Namdaemun in about 30 minutes (leisure walking), or take the subways. You can take the subway at Chungmuro station or Myeongdong or even the one at Eujiro.
If you're from Incheon hotel, after going out of the arrival hall, look for 6001 or 6015 platform for the bus. 6001 cost 10,000won while 6015 cost 14,000won. Both will stop in front of PJ Hotel (opposite Chungmuro station). When you reached PJ Hotel, walk down to the left (from the position of the bus door). You'll see pet shops with "aquarium-like" display along that room. Then, you need to cross the road to get to Chungmuro Residence. It's the second building after another hotel with the name "residence" as well.
Restaurants and convenience stalls are easily available there. The staff can speak basic English, one can speak Mandarin too. Chungmuro Residence & Hotel has no swimming pool or gym, and breakfast is provided in the form of "take-away" from its affiliated DH Mart (a package with sandwich, instant coffee and milk).

quite convenient, close to metro station
just few minutes walk to metro station. Only one stop to Dongtaimun, and one stop to Myyeong. Airport bus stop is just opposite. Good price.
