there are two MTR Exit in front of the hotel, very convinent.
there are a lot of shopping pots and food near the hotel.
the reception man very nice.
so quiet, no noice. nothing specially.
but the air conditioner is out of work when we live in.
actually, this is hotel is good for travelling when u with ur fd.

Price is cheap so may be should not ask for much but at least it should not show 4 stars. The room is small and the hotel itself is old. Transportation is convenient as for station nearby. May be it is good for travelling alone whom just ask for basic stays.

Near clothing market, good price This hotel is close to the Dongdaemun gate and the subway is right outside the hotel and the airport bus (No 6002) is 400 meters away. Reasonable location near the fashion market which is very busy at night but the sound proofing of the hotel is good. Rooms reasonable size though a little shabby- try to pay a little more for a better hotel if you can!
Shopping Tip : Close to Dongdaemun fashion area.

It is at a great location with easy access to subway station and exciting shopping area. The room stayed is outdated and not clean enough for even an overnight stay.
The facility is too limited and needs a good fix and improvement. We were surprised while arriving the hotel. The staff on duty did not provide a greeting upon request for checking. The room was not prepared for a hotel room we normally used to. The light level in the room is too dim for reading or relax, so we decided to go out instead of staying in the room. The bathroom is also outdated in terms of fixing, but the hot water was running well as a surprise.
As a new Agoda member, I wish the check and evaluation of the hotel can be more close to what it really is, so we can entrust the recommendation confidently.

Hotel is located just 20 seconds walk from the underground station which has good access to Seoul's major shopping spots. You can also see the Dongdaemoon from the room window! The bed cover was too thin and I felt very cold as we stayed in the coldest days of January (the outside temperature was -15 degrees!)

There are no shampoo or tooth brushes however there is a convinience store right next to the hotel so you can purchase amenities that are necessary. Hotel could improve by cleaning its room with a little more effort as I found litter (tissue) on the floor in my room when I checked in.

Location is GREAT! Just above the subway in Dongdaemum so you can walk around the shopping malls there even at late night. However it is definitely cannot be regarded as a 4 stars hotel... The feeling of the hotel and the room are just so old and dirty... Staff's direction are not clear and they are not really helpful. I was asking something about the airport bus and their direction is just opposite... We finally took over 15mins walk to get there...

i stayed during 5th to 7th dec
in korea it was snowing
it was cold a little at hotel's lobby
but people asked the front desk that it was cold here and then it was warmer here
and that next day it became more warmer
my room was too hot too.it is kind for me to stay at hotel
my room is so clean and can go shopping easily around shopping area like tongdaemun and myongdong
it is so good location
i recommend this hotel
because there are kind hotel men,good location for shopping and good view

The men's sauna on the 2nd floor. Comfortable and large bed. Rather thin walls on the 3rd floor. I enjoyed my stay at the Dongdaemoon Hotel Seoul. I had a single room with a good sized bed on the 3rd floor. I chose the 3rd floor as it was supposed to be no-smoking, though there was a fasint odor of tobacco smoke nonetheless. Drawbacks were the noise from the traffic outside and from adjoining rooms. However, overall my impressions of the Dongdaemoon Hotel Seoul were mostly favorable.

The male bath house and sauna, friendly staff, in room internet The decor is slightly faded. The location of the hotel cannot be bettered as it stands just above a subway station. The rooms are spacious especially the doubles and the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. The upper rooms are quieter than those below. The hotel probably needs a redecoration but is extremely good value for a short or mid-length stay.
Travel tip : Choose an upper storey room

The location is great, just outside the dongdaemoon station (line 4).
You can hang out shopping, eating and watching movies til early morning without getting afraid of walking far to the hotel.
It has a free internet connection.
The staff are helpful and can speak English.
7 Eleven store has a connecting door to it. The aircon is not so good.
The dongdaemoon gate renovation is disturbing (the hotel is just in front of it).
The airport bus stop is a bit far (5 mins walking) especially when you have a lot of baggage. This Dongdaemoon Hotel, which known before as Best Western Dongdaemoon (they're still using the Best Western logo for some equipments) and now runs by Eastern Hotel Groups, has the most special points with the location. Just beside the dongdaemun station exit no 7, you can hang out til any hours in this part of the city that never sleeps without getting afraid walking far to reach the hotel. The only disturbing thing is the aircon and the airport busstop which is quite far when you're lifting heavy baggage.
Travel tip : When you're up for shopping at Dongdaemun area with almost every malls and cinemas open til 4 or 5 am, the location is the perfect choice.
And for the last day of staying, if you have many baggages, you better move to the hotel which has the airport shuttle bus stop in it cause the bus stop is quite far to lift baggage.

Location too, and the room itself The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway station, and it is not too far from the airport shuttle bus station. The area is not as nice, but if you are looking for bargain/cheap shopping, it is totally the place to go. Concierge service was very good and helpful, there was free internet to use. The only one thing I did not like about the hotel is that the room was very old and it did not look clean.
Shopping Tip : Lots of bargain.cheap shopping around the hotel!!!
I would recommend this hotel only if you don't plan on staying inside the hotel for too long and are mostly out touring around the city.

I like a little dark room. From sleep just fine. . Single (one SEMIDABURUBEDDO) a mess of the narrow room, but rather a twin room and spacious. Before the Dongdaemun spacious and comfortable rooms look.
