Very good location, Just beside the subway station (Dongdaemun history and cultural park station), and opposite the main shopping area in Dongdaemun, which open until 430am. Lots of places to shop and buy food.

It was a cosy and clean but very small room. Dongdaemun shopping district is just minutes away and the night market ends just right beside the hostel. Subway is just a few steps away.
If convenience ranks high on your priority this is a great accomodation, but please take note there is no lift in the building.

Excellent Loction Hostel
1. Location is excellent. Very close to Metro (Line #2, 4 and 5) and therefore very convenient

Small single room, great for 1 or two nights

The hostel is centrally located to the dongdaemum night markets about 1 minute walk away. It is also close to the city's subway train lines ( 2 mins walk away). The room was quite small however contained a bathroom and shower - this place is great for a few nights to get by especially if you are out and about most of the day exploring Seoul

Nice Hostel
The location is good, very close to the shopping pardise such as APM, Good Morning City which is open till 4am, the transportation is good

But the bed is old and the spring inside is noisy. The electronic cooker in the commmon kitchen has broke down therefore cannot cook anything now.

Pros : Easy access to and from ICN/Gimpo airport by taking 6001 bus( bus fare ICN 14000KRW, Gimpo 7000KRW) , the bus stop is located right outside of Toyoko Inn, which is 15 second walk from DongDaeMum Hostel.Easy access to the subway to get to anywhere in Seoul , subway line 2 station is 10 seconds away and line 4 station is 1 min away, of cox there are tons of buses nearby as well. Shopping area is within 10 mins walk, where you find all the big shopping mall and street shops, most of the shops and restaurant and even salon are open 24hours. There are yellow tent night market after 9 pm as well. Family Mart is right next to the hostel.Friendly staff, if you have heavy luggage there is a bell on the 1st floor , just press the bell and they will help you to carry it.
Cons:the room and bed is small, you only get 2 sq feet of walking area in your room. the hostel is located on the 3rd floor, so you will have to walk up the stairs, and the light ( staircase) is controlled by motion senor, which is not very sensitive, so you will have to mind your steps before the light comes on. There is no hair dryer and towel in the room, so pls bring your own towel, but they do have hair dryer upon request.They don't have room service and would not clean your room, if you have any trash, please separate the recycle trash and ask them where to put them.
Overall I will come back again if i am travelling solo.
