actually, i enjoied this hotel. yes, it was not easy to find out. so, i took taxito get the hotel. it cost about $3.00us dollar .the taxi fee never expensive in seoul compare with usa or europe.the hotel staffs are kind. room was small but they furnished everything you needincluding free internet, shampoo, conditioner, evian water hair drier,etc. they are ready to help guest.hotel provide free continental breakfast which is good for visitor. i will stay this hotel next time too.thanks!

The location of the hotel was good particularly for travelling to and from the airport inn the limousine bus. It would be handy to have on their website which bus to catch from the airport and the relevant bus stop together with a simple sketch to show how to access the hotel from mthe bus stop.
The staff were most helpful with any queries and the place was clean.

We stayed here a single night before leaving out of Incheon the next day. We arrived early in the morning before the 2 pm check-in time and they were happy to store our bags. It wasn't too difficult to find using the map at their website...a short walk from the Jong-no 3-ga Metro station. The hotel can be accessed from the narrow alleys shown on the map, but they're a bit on the seedy side. If arriving in the evening I'd stick to the larger roads.
The room was clean and modern. Adequate size, with a bit of strange layout--the TV was on top of the desk, with the LAN cable next to it. If you care about Korean pop culture less than my better half, this is probably not a problem.
Only other issue was some difficulty being understood at the front desk. I think we went 1 for 3 when it came to staff having a firm grasp of English. Not a big problem, but if you need full service treatment from your hotel, this might not be your place.

Good value for money and location

After conference we travelled for over a week in Korea. In general it was a negative surprise how old and bad hotels there are. So coming to Seoul, to the cheapest hotel among our booking, which finally was modern looking - was a positive surprise.
Hotel has very good location to explore everything by foot. Local nightlife is right here. Although I can imagine that some people would be shocked with this area, some motels, karaoke. But still it is safe and we thought that here one can really see local life, with young Koreans party around.
Room of the hotel is tiny (never saw somthing like this), but modern, has internet and all you need. In spite of its tiny size, i still have positive impression.
Breakfast was ok too, and included for a change.
Maybe if one start trip in Korea from Seoul, might find hotel not so great. But after we saw hotels in the rest of the country - this was a very positive impression, and comparing to average Korean hotel this hotels give good value for money.

Very easy acess to and from airport.walking distance to anywhere,exellent 24 hours desk service,lovely breakfast.
The room are relatively small,but air controlled.
If you stay there for sleep and rest, it is good place.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any tourist, who is looking for a nice hotel in which you don't have to worry about anything and which has a good quality level to a more or less reasonable price. Perfect for single tourists or business people as well as for couples (for families I just don't know).
There's no reason not to go there, except you find a place that corresponds more to your personal needs (of course).

Cheap and good and in a very good location
Excellent location. Service is very good. Staff very helpful and polite.

Doulos Hotel is in an excellent location. It's within walking distance from Jongno-3-ga station, which is an interchange of three subway lines. The staff were very polite and helpful - they would go out of their way to assist you. They certainly made it a pleasant stay.
Downsides? The room was very small. Only room for one chair, which is not so good if there's two to a room. The area where the hotel is in is also a bit seedy.

The location of Dolous hotel is unbeatable. It is close to subway station, airport shuttle bus station. The famous attration - Insadong - is within walking distance.
Free breakfast was also better than what I expected
