A good introduction to Seoul
The hotel provided a very good and punctual shuttle service to different locations around the city, including shopping centres and markets. lose to the Grand Hilton provided good dining. Very clean

In general the stay was very good. However the menu after 10 pm is very very limited and expensive.The staff tried their best to help and spoke reasonable english.

I was there with my parents for three nights. A bus stop is right outside of the hotel and the hotel provides free shuttle bus to major stops like the subway stations (hongjae station and seoul station ) and itaewon. It takes around 15 min to arrive seoul station and 30 min to arrive itaewon). we joined the DMZ tour where the travel agency provides free pick up service from the hotel. the name of the travel agency is cosmojin. you can get brochure about the tour from the hotel lobby. you can get discount if you join the morning half-day DMZ tour (gather at lobby around 7.40am) with a minimum of 3 persons. it was really convenient especially for travellers with aged parents or young chikdren. The hotel is spacious with 3 rooms where the master bedroom comes with a walk-in closet. the other rooms have big closet and a writing table. the living room is very big with a six seats dining table. the kitchen is spacious too and equiped with a stove and cutlery and wine glasses. The hotel also provides washing machine and dryer.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't forget to use the hotel shuttle bus service. the timetable is printed on your hotel room card holder. The shuttle bus runs on an hourly basis. the shuttle bus pick up guests from the grand hilton hotel lobby and the main entrance to the two hotels. there is a convenient store across the street from the entrance of the hotel. the hotel has a big conference hall too.

rather than a hotel, it is just like my own house! It's got a living room, kitchen, three rooms and toilets... I would certainly recommend the hotel to travelers who stay for a long period in Korea as they can wash their clothes and cook in the hotel (residence). Although the location may not be very convenient.

This hotel was very nice for our family. It felt like we were living in an apartment. We used the 3 bedroom and it was very clean and had a lot of amenities that made staying there very comfortable. We traveled by car and the parking was very convenient.

the rooms are big but the occupancy are very restricted that defeat the purpose for travelers to choose the suite on the first place.
it does seems that the hotel staff are expecting travelers of very small pax.. dah! visit seoul year ???

This hotel offers many pleasant surprises, including good room size, clean rooms, good location to experience local culture, many inexpensive eating places that one can enjoy good and hygienic local food. I would recommend this hotel to families that are in Seoul for a longer stay and have the plan to enjoy local culture and food. Transport from airport to hotel was easy and inexpensive
Transport from hotel to nearest metro train station was free.
If preferred, walking to the nearest metro train station was not difficult, in fact it was very pleasant during the Oct days. The nearest station is not far from many of the tourist spots, therefore traveling fee was inexpensive. I would stay in this hotel again if I visit Seoul for holidays.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hongjie station is the nearest station and from Hongjie station to many tourist spots was easy and not too far.

The hotel was lot bigger than I expected. It is great if you are planning to stay for few days. It has a good size living room dining room and kitchen. They provide you the dishes, but you have to buy dish soap, laundry soap and dish washing cloth. Also there is very nice kitchen with the utensils, but you have to buy your cooking oil , salt and pepper. So to make it worth while it is great place to stay for longer period. There was no internet connection in the room and to buy it from the main Hilton Hotel office was quite expensive. In Korea there is internet free every where, so that was a big disappointment. Location was good but little bit far from the main city attractions. So to get around was little bit time consuming, but underground metro was 7-8 minutes walk.
