Convenient to trains, buses, and subway. Easy to and from airport. Really close to Namdaemun market. They will not allow early check in, but they will safely store bags.

Wondeful stay at Guest House Myeongdong
Single room is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good location.

Despite of my late arrival at the guest house (I reached at 10plus evening), the guy at the reception (located at level 2) help to process my check-in in just a few minutes. Btw, he speaks english very well so that is not a issue for those doesn't speak korean. As per many guests have mentioned, this guest house is in a very superb location. It is directly in front of Myeongdong subway exit 9. Just behind of the guest house is the shopping district of Myeondong. Only minus point is the staircase leading to the rooms. I stayed at the 5th floor. It's not a issue for me as I have no luggage. For those do have, u may get help from the staff to help you carry. Also, the higher floor u stay means that u have to walk up and down the same number of floors when going out. As it is in front of the subway, u can purchase the T-money from the machine and travel to your desired place easily by subway. Do take note the subway lines are quite complicated, make sure to refer to the signboard (mostly in english) for directions. For those coming by airport bus, the bus stop is at Sejong hotel which is a 1 or 2 mins wwalk to the guest house. Look out for the ministop, and u will find the guest house. To summarise, this guest house is best suited for solo travellers whom not staying in the room most of the time. Because of the location and the price, I may choose to come back and stay again!

So close to Myeongdong
quiet safety, close to shopping area, few feet to subway station

Please remember that check-in time is after 2pm and check-out is before 11am, so you won't get any fines LOL. It's very close to Myeongdong shopping street like only one minute. If you first come, i recommend you to go out from EXIT 9 at Myeongdong subway station. You can use subway to go all around SEOUL. It's very convenient. And the location is opposite Namsan Tower, you just walk about 10-15 mins to meet this famous tourist attractions.
