Near subway, affordable price, good location for shop club and hangout because it near with hongik university. So many teen college here

Convenient Location but poor service

We did not receive any email confirmation from apartment staff thus we had to waste 1 hour waiting for them to get back on the room number and password for self check in. Room was pretty decent for 4 pax but smells at the kitchen area. I would not recommend anybody to stay here unless you are on budget traveling.

Good location but no place to keep our luggage

we should be able to go to our room with passcode that manager gave but he gave wrong room. No cleanning during oue stay. When we checked out, there wasno place to store our lugguages.

Difficult to identify the building

The location for the guesthouse is very good as it is closed to cafes, restaurants, trick eye museum, hello kitty café, etc. It is just 10 minutes walking distance to Hongdae and there are also flea markets and nightlife at the area. The guesthouse is just situated close to the exit 2 of Hongik Uni station.
Bear in mind that the guesthouse looks like a office tower, we were confused when we first reached this guesthouse. As we have changed to stay at this hotel on our 4th day in Korea for easy access to Hongdae area attractions, the owner only sent email containing details on check-in procedures, room number and access code to us 2 days before our check in day. But we did not check our email during our trip in Korea, therefore we were helpless and confused when we reached the guesthouse. We spent about an hour to be able to get into our room.
Initially we thought the taxi driver dropped us at the wrong tower, so we had to ask people around the area for location. But most of them couldn’t understand English and it took us awhile to find someone to confirm that we were at the right building. But the main problem was we did not see anyone at the counter and we did not check our email regarding our self check-in procedures. Lastly, we manage to find someone who could speak Korean and English to speak to the guard at the building. Then the guard called the owner to request for the access code for our room.
The owner should have sent us the email upon confirmation of our room booking as we booked this guesthouse 2 months before our departure and it would really helped a lot. To be able to spot the building easily, once you come out from exit 2, you will see a petrol station on your left and there’s a convenient store beside the petrol station. Head further down and you will reach the building in less than 2 to 3 minutes on your left. Lastly, do remember to check your email everyday before your stay in this guesthouse.

Great location

The guesthouse is located in a building which look like an office tower. No reception, they just give you key number to your room. The location is the best thing about this guesthouse. Convenient store very near, and just few minutes away from hongdae area which is a place full of restaurant, cafe, clothing shop, nanta theater, trick eye museum, hello kitty cafe, prince cafe, and plenty other things. And they open until late, some 24 hours. But if you want a guest house that you can talk to the reception, or meet other traveller, this is not the place for you.
The room is oke, not great, but still clean. We booked the 4 bed room, its oke. Its just at night the room is quite chill (in Feb its still -10 outthere) since the heater from the building is off, and we didnt know how to operate the additional air conditioner. The wifi is ok, but in the 2nd room (we book on other dates) cannot turn on the wifi (maybe the information is incorrect but not easy to communicate with the owner).
But overall its a nice stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
No sign of the guesthouse, so have to carefully see the description that the email from the owner tell you.
